manual shifting g27

hey guys how I can play with manual shifting g27 ?

i have got the input map for g27
but the manual shifter didn't work !?

 

press Q on the keyboard until you get to manual transmission. Some cars are stock automatic so you will need to select a manual version or change the gearbox in the parts menu (presuming the car actually has a manual gearbox option)

 

Yep... You can go into manual transmission. What he is asking is how to use the actual shifter for shifting not a couple buttons on the keyboard.

 

The g27 has a default preset in the game. The h-shifter will work if you choose the manual option. The shifter is pre-mapped so you don't have to do anything else other than press Q until it is in manual.

pressing Q will change the transmission mode, so press it until it says manual. the shifter paddles and H shifter will work. I own one.

I don't understand? It works out of the box, you don't need to change anything in game. When you plug the G27 in, run the logitech game software (not sure if that is necessary) and get a car with manual with manual transmission type active it should work with nothing else needed.

 

If you are using a vehicle that has no manual gearbox, you can go into the vehicles' engine jbeam file, hit ctrl+F, search for "automatic", and then replace automatic with "manual, and then save the notepad file. Go back to the game, and hit ctrl+R to reload the newly modified transmission setting. You still have to press "q" until "manual" appears on the top left. If the vehicle has more than 1 transmission, make sure you are modifying the corresponding transmission.

 

I didn't modify anything when I installed my g27 and ran beamng and the manual shifter doesn't work, YES I WAS USING THE MANUAL SETTING and \I had to modify the input map for the petals because gas was stuck at 50% and brake just disabled gas.

 

I didn't need to do anything. (no driver or crap) just plug it in, (on both ends) and open the game, press Q until it's in manual mode.

Whatever "driver" you installed probably screwed everything over.

 

Yup, definitely a driver issue. Make sure you downloaded the proper 32/64 bit package, along with the proper operating system. Also, going into the "game controller settings" of the g27 in the control panel may possibly reset it. I had a glitch where when I hit the gas, the clutch would come to 50% at the same time. Going into the game controller settings and hitting the next button that brings about the specific settings (forgot if it's settings or properties) reset this issue. If that doesn't work, Uninstall and reinstall the driver.

 

No, that just means you have combined pedals enabled in the logitech profiler. YOu have to disable combined pedals for most driving games.
