i'm a huge fan of a Bentley and their continental gt. I didn't see and old cars so i'm working on this. NOTE: i'm only 18 and this is my first car. any advice is good its a 4.4 liter inline-4 around 130hp (i don't know if that's supercharged or not) 4 speed transmission weighs about 3,600 lbs drum breaks redline is 3,500 rpm with the 4.4 liter Bentley won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1928. Though the supercharged model it set several speed records at the time. i will try to add turbo so you can choose to drive like the car is in real life or like a speed demon. its on hold because i messed up alot where somethings would be slightly uneven and i dont want to give a bad mod. and most of this was a learning process and ill slowly work on it over time its just frustrating because im too far to scrap it or start over
I'd be very pleased to have an Oldtimer in BeamNG. I just hope you get around the tricky stuff in Jbeaming, considering it's your very first project, learning it will absorb a lot of time and test your patience.
thanks im trying to make it perfect - - - Updated - - - most likely a hard top and a convertible both 4 doors. the racer was a four door just with a windcover over the back seat ill try to do that - - - Updated - - - yeah i worked on a 2002 jeep Cherokee for a little bit that was my first project i learned a lot but im on the frame now body is done except the interior.
This is going to be awesome! I had no idea the pre-war Bentelys were that light. I always assumed a full body on frame, long stroke straight-four monster like that would be well north of 5000lbs. I mean look at the size difference between what looks to be an Austin 7 at Brooklands. (start at 18:24)
