In the techdemo.

Can somebody tell me how to add a 2nd car to the techdemo? My computer can handle 1, but I would like to find out if it can handle 2 before i buy DRIVE.

 

You can't. The demo comes with 1 car because it's supposed to demonstrate the game's physics and not much more than that.

 

He doesn't want another car into the game he wants to add another D15 while hes playing.

That doesn't help as you cant spawn another vehicle in the techdemo.

Garebear what type of CPU and GPU do you have?

 

You have to buy the alpha, you cannot spawn 2 vehicles on the map.

Well, I currently have an HP Laptop. Which runs the game on all normal features with no skipping and still good quality. But I wanted to know since I am on the go a lot and would like it on my laptop. (and I don't have a desktop, Lol) But I don't want to spend the 15$ (which is not a lot, I'm just poor) without knowing that I can run 2 cars. Because if I can't then I cannot buy the game.

 

I don't think you will run very well with any HP laptop with two vehicles, that's all my help. Why can you not buy the game if you cannot run two cars? I feel it is worth it just with one car.

 

Great demo, don't get me wrong. But with one car I am limited to my crashing. And crashing car-to-car is one of the main reasons I want this so much. Also, an off question. I clicked something on the demo and now I'm stuck inside one of those menu like hubs. The ones with words. And I don't know how to reset it. I cannot re-download it (due to connection) so I have to try to reset the demo. Suggestions?

 

A menu like hub? what words does it say on it?

 

Not sure. But words about drive. And I know there is a picture of the Gavril grand Marshall. It is the one you appear next to at start up. I also tried to change my camera in world edited. I need to know how to have the game like when I first downloaded it. But without doing so.

I am on mobile. I have very limited Internet access otherwise.

I am poor. My laptop is a very good laptop. But I am poor. $15 doesn't come easy to me. So I cannot just spend it without knowing if it will work.

 

I have a HP laptop (HP Elite Book 2740p)
Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM) i3 CPU M 380 @ 2.53GHz 2.53 GHz
RAM: 2 GB (1.86 GB usable)

My laptop can handle 3 cars with a tiny bit of lag and the charger in on both grid maps
some lag on the race map (Whatever its called) with one car shadows disabled all grass disabled.

Screen resolution: 800 X 600
All settings to lowest
ANT Filtering: 16X
