We did open all the windows and we have the gold ol' febreze sprayed. What my house smells like: We were cooking and we dropped a plastic container lid on a hot stove burner, and the plastic melted. Now there's plastic being burned off of the burner otherwise it will permanently smell bad when we turn on that burner.

I swear I'm like the only person who can't use rubber bike handle grips. I went to get a bike today and after 2 minutes of seeing if I liked a bike, my hands were totally red and the grips were covered in skin :|. Got the bike + foam grips to replace the rubber ones though.
Depends on the actual rubber compound and the pattern. Brothers bike, shreds my skin. Stepdads, leaves skin red but nothing major. Dads bike, fine. My old bike, fine. Just get some gloves or something though, should you come off it really helps protect against shredding your palms.
