I honestly want to see what it's like, because I am curious to see if it really does feed off of emotions, and just how bad it actually is.

Also, it's supposed to be the gate to a wake-induced lucid dream, and I keep getting closer to SP, but I either give up when it seems like it's not happening, or lose focus and fall asleep. I want to follow through dammit.

    Sorry for bump.
I dreamed last night that I was trapped on an alien planet and I wasn't sure how I got there. I think the year was 2033 or something. I wandered around for a while and there was a crashed ship, and then these purple aliens were examining it. Then they saw me and caught me with some sort of stretchable hand. I managed to escape and I woke up.

Reminds me, weirdly I've always thought something would happen in 2030-2033. Since I was like 6 years old, I've had quite alot of dreams of either the world getting destroyed by humans, the world exploding and being trapped on an alien planet. Also once dreamed that there would be a couple of atomic bombs in 2032, I remember that in the dream I woke up and was watching tv, when suddenly there was something about leaked documents of atomic bombs that were going to be used a week afterwards were found.

I dreamt I bought a 2000 gs400, and on top of that, someone made a map of the boardwalk in my town (long beach, ny) and not only that, they announced a huge update that showed completing of the whole 2.4 miles of the boardwalks length, along with the town, and the beach. It was amazing. I became half awake, still believing it was reality, and was anticipating playing this map. Five minutes go by, reality struck, and I was a sad panda. Considering generic city's map size, making a map of long beach, ny is totally possible. It's not that big.

last night i was dreaming i was driving on a large freeway at night;it was pouring rain. I was driving a black S600 merc from 1995; i look in my rearview mirror and see a E34 5 series,i then think the guy in the 5 series is chasing me so i end up flooring it,i also end up ramming the 5 series off the road, the 5 series slams into a tree. after a bit of driving while listening to 90s dance music for some reason i end up wrecking the car when trying to get off the freeway via the off-ramp,i then end up waking up right after that.

haha i was just in long beach over the weekend. I used to live at 600 Shore Road, at the very east side of the beginning of the boardwalk. Big brown building. I used to also live on Lindell by the Lindell deli. Was fun to live there. Now I am in huntington. funny meeting someone here that is so close.

A couple nights ago, I dreamt that I turned my Corolla into a 24 Hours of Lemons racer. It had a RWD swap (I dunno how) and the V6 out of my truck. It's light weight made it eligible for B-class and we dominated. It was light, fast, and handled pretty ok for having 200HP on 5.5 inch wide tires. It had a junkyard 4 speed manual from a much older S-10 and a rollcage that was, well, like a D- in tech. Like getting a GED, really.

And after a couple hours of dominating in B-Class, the differential blew. Oh, well.

Oh, I have sinister dream too. But I don't think that you want to hear about them.

I lived diagonally across from the big school down at the end of the block, on the deli side...I was there for about 1 year back in 2005 - 2006 era. I since moved a few times but currently live in Huntington on the Harbor. I work at AutoWorld KIA in East Meadow, right off the Wantagh Parkway...hop, skip and a jump away from long beach. Might be going down there in a week or two to check out the "new" boardwalk since I have only been there a few years ago before Sandy ripped it all apart. I was in Long Beach (more like Atlantic beach) last week, so I did not have a chance to do the boardwalk. Id like to bring my bike down there and ride around. Small world tho right? lol

    Dream log for last night

Dream # 1 : Had a dream it was raining super heard, and my cousin/brother/dad decided to bike. Then before they could leave the driveway there was someone in the driveway with a tent holding a sign saying "need money for food" (lolwut?), he was about ~20. Then some larger guy with grey hair came into the driveway and tried to fight with him. Afterwards they all left on bikes.

Dream # 2 : Had a dream that my cousin/brother started biking, but I decided to walk. We all ended up hiking like 1 minute later because their bikes were just gone (ah the nature of dreams). Then I ended up "spawning in" a semi truck and it ended up causing a crash. Being scared, I spawned a sports car, and my brother spawned a motorbike, and we drove to the end of the street where nobody could hear us.

On the way to the end of the street I realized I was driving about 180kmh, and ended up hitting a guardrail but got next to no damage, the guardrail was blocking a large cliff, where there should have been a bridge to the other side (the road continued at the other side). This marked at the time what I considered the "end of the street".

After a short talk a yellow car came to us, and I used "freecam" to look who was inside; A woman with 2 children. The woman then pulls a gun and starts shooting at us, killing my dads friend (who appeared suddenly), then I try spawning a helicopter. The woman spawns her own helicopter (lolwut, same color and everything. I somehow also thought it was made by Stoat XD), and starts saying "Don't you try to get away from me".

(side note : The woman was seemingly knowing of my family's "spawning powers", and was coming to hunt us down because of it)

Afterwards, only I ended up back at a house, but the house was a friends cottage rather than my own. Everyone asked why I was bursting in the door and before I could lock it the woman from the car broke down the door and started shooting at things. That's about where the dream ended.

I have weird dreams like this a lot, so I want to start posting more :p

Not long after I first watched Inception (2-3 years after it was released), I had a lucid dream. One of the only two or three that I'd remembered having at that point.

I take almost every responsibility I'm given unhealthily seriously, so when I dreamed that I'd been late to one of my college classes because I'd chosen to meet my father and siblings for lunch, I started wigging out. Something didn't seem quite right, though, so I applied a bit of logic I had read about online.

Dreams are mental vapor. They tell you broadly what's going on and how you feel, but fail to fill in all the details. One of the ways to know you're in a dream is to pay attention to said details. Look at faces and clocks. At this point, I look at someone's face, only to notice it starting to morph after a few seconds. I was in a dream and I knew it, so I closed my eyes and tried to the best of my abilities to wake myself up.

I came to. In my car. Outside the college, and again late for the class that I no longer attended in actuality. I was still dreaming. I got out and walked around a bit, trying to figure out what to do next. Then, I got an idea: run. I'm not sure if I knew it at the time, but the impression of physical exercise tricks the body into ramping up the heart rate, causing sleep to become interrupted. I started running across the parking lot, headed for a distant alleyway. Around then, I noticed I wasn't alone.

About three to five random men were pursuing me into the alleyway. I charged into the corridor of brick and dumpsters trying to keep my distance from my tail. One got a bit close, so I swung around to slap him across the jaw, ruining his balance and sending him into the wall. As the alleyway turned a corner, it morphed into the aisles of a grocery store. The tense chase turned comedic as we crashed through shopping carts and displays, and we may have possibly been pushing carts ourselves for no discernible reason at all whatsoever. I woke up at that point, and I picture I was smiling.

Damn right! The drive to Wantagh on the highway is sick though. It's definitely worth checking out the new boardwalk. If you went to the long beach high school during 05 and 06, I very well may have seen you,at the Lindell bus stop.

Last night I had a dream that Donald Trump crashed his jet (a 737-100) in a desert, where me and several others were. We were in the middle of "playing" a war game, so it was kind of like Battlefield with real life graphics. Apparently everyone hated Donald Trump so as he was trying to leave people were kicking sand into the jet engines. For some reason the jet had horse physics and was lifting up and landing on people. I ended up "dying" twice under the jumbo jet. When I tried to leave the area in a small warplane I got shot down by the other players, and the dream ended.

I had a couple others but all I can remember is one was set in a tunnel.

Last night I dreamt that a tornado hit our house. Which, to be fair, one almost did about twelve hours prior.

I also dreamt that I got ahold of Batman: Arkham Knight (an impossibility since I don't have a current-gen console). The prologue of the game consisted of performing a bank robbery, which segued into a slow-moving open world set piece following the day-to-day events of Bruce Wayne. Even though there were no enemies or gadgets, there was something intriguing about soaking in an interactive 'calm before the storm.' And now I kinda want that game that doesn't exist.

I'm embarrassed to say that the second dream was far more impactful than the first.
