Don't forget that truck was modeled to be from the mid-1980s. Safety regulations were more lenient back then. The reason why the D15 does well is because it's one of the older cars in the game, plus it's a pickup. Back then they weren't minivans with a bed, they were work trucks, so they were built accordingly.

Unfortunatly, it still pretty much works like this.
Look at this video from the IIHS (whatever that stands for).

Those are much younger trucks (or trailers actually) than the T75 is supposed to be and they still fail miserably.

So yeah, I agree with Atomix, that's just simply how things worked back in the days. If you hit a semi you would pretty much get decapitated.
And it isn't the cars fault in most cases, it's the underride guards' fault for not being strong enough to stop a car.

Whoops, I'm sorry. :p I really forgot what year the T-Series was from. Won't happen again. I'm just so used to our modern underride guards.

Probably right about it being too small, actually - I sort of hastily copied and enlarged the H45 cargo box without much thought, and jacked up the rear suspension so it'd clear. The underride guard should sit a little lower and have weaker attachment since it's from the 80s.

You are planning on making a safety wall (Don't know technical term) between the cab and the flatbed, right?
    Something like this

Sorry for posting about this again, noticed an issue with the T75's default parts.
It doesn't have a rear rear differential by default, at least according the the part config box.
Line 478 seems to be the cause.
    Code:
["semi_differential_R_2_b","", "Gavril T-Series Rear Rear Differential"],

It's so the T65 (long wheelbase) doesn't have the parts connecting it to the front rear axle that the T75 has.

The rear rear differential is actually part of the front rear axle. I had to do that to get it to load properly, dunno why.

Could I ask that self-collision be disabled on the mudflaps? With it on, they will often get stuck in the rear wheels following small impacts or jumps, resulting in said wheels locking up semi-permanently.

Not doing that will keep textures messed up.
You probably had some mods installed in the game directory, which is like a 'sin' now.

After the latest update, the hood & wheel camera have been removed from this vehicle. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else, was this intentional or an accident?

Congrats to the devs who worked on it because I never used to be able to drive the t-65 cargo box uplift above 25 fps now I get like the same as any other car! 55-60 fps
