Worked on the Ford a bunch more, mostly stuff from last week or so when i finally got done with college..then i got sick for like 4 days .-. But anyway I'm pretty much back to myself now so i worked on a load of more stuff. I completely remodeled the pillars of the doors, modeled half vinyl roof and trim, added a butt-load of chrome(more will come as textures), added dividers to the windows, various interior work, redone some stuff around the back window and finally made some "S" model trim (the lowest model trim) parts. But don't worry if you're a skrub and can't afford all the swag chrome and vinyl there is an "S" model
Sorry mate, but that's way more than a few shading errors .. A tip I can give is to not sure the subsurf modifier. At least not in the way you are using it. It should be used only from people that know what they are doing IMO. If one uses it without the right knowledge he will end up with a terrible model. And the 'Smooth' modifier isn't helpful either.
The model had come out like that with the shading errors, that is why I applied the modifiers, thanks for the feedback though. I have removed the modifiers and it hasn't helped, I need some advice on how to go about fixing this issue (I literally just grabbed some reference images, installed blender and slapped this together(please bare with me))
You will probably have to give a bit more information before we can tell you what the exact thing you are doing wrong is. Perhaps getting an image of the model without any modifiers would be useful, especially in edit mode so we can see how you have created the model.
Mountain is finished, adding roads. the terrain isnt though. i still have to make beaches. should i make a thread?
waw, I cant W4it till that is finishhd. looks great so far. I hope thats supposed to be a joke...otherwise, there's almost no going back to a proper modeled surface unless you create a new, blank scene and start over. dont want to be mean, but seriously thats no bueno. - - - Updated - - - WHAT is up with all those suspension beams? Looks very dense.
That's a very pretty mountain! I really like mountains. I live with them. We always need more mountains. As for a thread... I guess when you finish the roads. But you still have enough progress to make one now it looks like. I hope you get to finishing that.
Blender's shrinkwrap modifier to the rescue (perfectly fit the shattered glass mesh to the DelSol ) EDIT : I'm aware it should slightly protrude. I've fixed that since this photo (imported from here) (imported from here)
Kind of given up. Started a new project...(teaching people on how to sticker bomb their BeamNG cars (tutorial coming soon))
Looks fine to me. Would like to say thanks to Slayersen for a ton of jbeam help/information yesterday. He's obviously not with me now that I'm doing flexbodies .
