How does that thing work in real life? does it function in the same way in game?

It's a platform linked to a bunch of sensors. As soon a car gets over it, it moves on a random side. It's used for various purposes.
In this case it's tested to test ESC (which IIRC cuts the power from the wheels that looses grip (You can see that in the graphs in the video too)).
In BeamNG the sensor is a small wall, which as soon is it by the car, triggers the platform

    (imported from here)

Some other uses it to test the driver skills (ESC Is turned off in this video)

Updated the barrier prop with a new model(from Hutch), and made the n/b more accurate :)

Looks so much more ''rally-style'' with the mudflaps! Gonna add any extra lights?

Looks really good. Will there be any ''factory fighter'' version of the Pessima, like a sport version? I mean it is from Japan :p

I doubt it, since it's a low class cheap wagon.

There was going to be a V6 model, so there probably will be some kind of sport variant. Plus, you can always swap in a turbocharged Hirochi engine

Wouldnt surprise me if the 200bx engine was reused, definitely the sort of thing the japanese manufacturers used to love doing. In which case, custom manifold and you could graft the 200bx turbo onto it.
