ok now the plane works in the latest version but the key binds were changed. throttle is the same as pitch down so I can't get it up in the air.

Anyone know how to tell what speed you're at? The tacho does that 'nan' thing in the km/h slot and the rmp meter has numbers on it but doesn't actually show your km/h. That said, the B-25 Mitchell is amazing, please never cease your brilliance.

Just add the airspeed UI in the UI editor. It tells you your speed based on what it is, not wheelspin.

I made an info.json file for this aircraft, if anyone is interested. Added information on the variant of the aircraft (J), the manufacturer/brand (North American), the year built (From 1943-45), etc.
    info.zip

Also, is anyone else having problems with the cockpit glass shattering and the control columns bugging out as soon as the plane spawns, like this?

Yes. I think it is a problem with the game update... my cockpit doesn't glitch out as much as yours does, but my glass does shatter, and there is a big glitch with the steering wheels.

Help! When I press 'X' in Real Automatic, all it does is go very slowly and turn a bit to the right. What's going on?

Download the most recent version; it's been updated to work with newer versions of the game.

Say, Mitch, can you tell me where the nose is mapped to on the skins?

    Re: B-25 Mitchell

For some reason, the first thing that happens when I spawn this plane in, is the cockpit windows all shatter. As well, if the plane touches (or comes close to) water, or if I drop bombs, the game freezes until I press "J" a couple times; which is when a message in the top left of the screen says that the vehicle reset because it became unstable. I love flying this plane a lot, it's old, it's fun, "it's low and slow" (partially in the literal sense), and it's nice to look at. I'm keeping the plane even with the bugs I'm struggling with because of the upsides. I would though like to know how to fix these bugs, if there's a way to.

    Thanks,

    Jeff Hendrie.

Cause and effect ;). Propellers turn right, plane banks right.

    Re: B-25 Mitchell

It wouldn't be fixed, because the real B-25 had the same issue, as did the B-17, the B-24 and almost all WWII aircraft. I think the P-38 was one of the few aircraft to have propellers spinning in opposite directions.

Windows shatter in my cockpit as well, but I have no issue with dropping bombs. Any vehicle in game has issues the with hitting the water fast, as water collisions are a very tricky thing to calculate.

For me, it happens no matter how fast I hit the water. I can just roll it slowly in and it'll still error.

Noting that yes, some multi-engine planes did have this issue, a lot of them didn't, as it was common practice to initially build the plane so the propellers would spin opposite directions, for example, going from left to right looking from back to front on the plane, the propellers would spin as below:

    CC-C-CC-C or CC-CC-C-C or C-CC-C-CC or C-C-CC-CC for 4-engines, and either C-CC or CC-C for 2-engines.

CC being counter-clockwise, and C being clockwise. This reduced the aircraft's turning unintendedly. Most B-17s if I remember correctly, had this put in place, so it was easier to fly. It might have only been the training planes, or it might have been something they did as an after-thought/"aftermarket" thing, but I do remember seeing the props spin opposite directions on the real things at an airshow once. Some went same-direction, some went opposite directions. I wouldn't say it's something that needs to be fixed, since I've seen them both ways, but if someone wants to make an edited version of it where the props rotate opposite directions so it doesn't propsteer (I forgot the technical term), then I'd like a copy of it, so then I'd have a copy of both types.
