hey,i seem to meet a problem that i can't open the install file. who may help me plz?

it isn't an .exe file. how can i install the game. i've just spent 15$ on it and wanted to have a nice afternoon. thx guys

Right click on the file, select "rename" and type ".exe" after the filename, so it should say "BeamNG-DRIVE-0.3-Setup.exe" or something like that

I have the same problem too and I can't see to resolve it. I tried renaming it .exe and .zip but it won't work. I get this message for a second before it goes away: Error: Could not find or load this class(location)
Can someone give me suggestions?

If you downloaded it and it has an "unknown" icon, you need to add .exe to the end of the file.
If you have a picture of a folder with a zipper on it, a bunch of books in a vice/belt, or an icon with a 7 on it, double click the file, drag the .exe out onto your desktop, and run it.

It has a java icon and I moved it the desktop.

You know, it may be easier just to tell us what the file extension is. (.exe, .zip, .jar, .txt) They should be at the end of the file name. If you don't see an extension then follow the tutorial for your OS below.

Some tutorials for different versions of Windows. (NOTE: If you aren't a system administrator, you may not be able to change this setting depending on your privileges.)

Windows XP

Windows Vista

Windows 7

Windows 8

If there STILL is no file extension, rename the file and add .exe to the end.

Afterthought: What is your internet browser?

Ok, I followed the links you posted and after following them, still no luck. My Internet Browser that I downloaded it on is Google Chrome. Also, what program should I be using to open BeamNg Startup?
