It should definitely use a de-tuned, possibly single-cam version (I'm not sure if the 200BX engine is SOCH, or DOHC.) of the 2.0L I4 found in the 200BX, similar to how the first and second generation Nissan Altima (1992-2001) used the same KA24DE engine found in the 240SX. I'm not sure why you'd want to turbo a FWD, four door Japanese sedan other than for sleeper factor, as you would undoubtedly get massive amounts of understeer. The backyard turbo Protege build from Haggard Garage definitely comes to mind. :p

Engines will likely be as follows:
1.5 L engine from Covet, tuned to 122 HP
2.0 L engine from 200BX, SOHC variant, available with 140 or 160 HP
    3.4 L V6, producing 195 or 210 HP

Of course, there will also likely be a JDM model with the regular DOHC 200BX engine (160 to 180 HP depending on tuning). Japanese engine displacement tax means small, fizzy engines.

I may sound strange saying this, but, it seems like those engines produce way too much power. The base 1.6L engine in a Toyota Corolla of this time period produced 100 HP in the US, 105 with the 1.8L engine.

Seems as how Gabe said somewhere that the Covet produces somewhere in the range of 95 HP, I'd imagine that the Covet engine would be bumped up to no more than 110 HP, with the 2.0L ranging between 120 to 130 HP and the V6 producing no more than 150, as that's what a Buick 3.8L V6 of the same time period about produced, it was even a bit less than that given job to do.

That ripple would work great for resetting or fixing your car. Carmageddon has its own quirk of the car morphing back into shape, so having it ripple when it respawns would look pretty cool.

Soo, lets install the CPU, memory and the fan:

    Simple fan mounting ... :|

    Repeat that 3 times:

And put that into the case:

    Have a coffee break:

And cable management, attaching all things, etc:

    First test:

    Office turned into a mess:

After some hour testing and the MB just rebooting with no error code, we figure out that you need to update the BIOS version from the F7 that is installed to the latest F10c....
You only need an older CPU that is supported in order to even get to the BIOS and do that. Seriously, WTF ... :

    Installed older CPU, upgrading BIOS...

    Running with no heatsink :D

    WIP ...
