Yes, but those are very rare and hard to find.
A 7750-7770 are incredibly cheap and easy to find.

If they were easier to find, I would recommend it. :)

Proof or it didn't happen. And just the water doesn't count, it has to be a map with actually something on it. I really doubt you get 90 FPS with a 5770..

I will swear this is true, my 5770 just died and the xps doesn't want to take any other card so it won't start up. I am looking to replace it with a 5870 though.

I would get 90 fps some days and 15 others, on minecraft vanilla I would get from 247 to 30, on ror penguinville just ror bot anywhere from 120 to 400+. Is this a symptom for anything? I want to find a cheap way to fix it.

Re: will my pc be able to run Beamng

xDDDDDDD That is seriously the biggest joke in the world. It's obvious you didn't get 90 FPS, I didn't, and my rig beats you in any situation except possibly some CPU heavy things, but if I overclock then I kick the crap out of your Dell.

You know it's fake if you say "I swear this is true" or "my 5770 died" after you try to raise your e-peen (which was a total epic fail!).

Oh and you saying your XPShite computer won't accept any other graphics card is even bigger BS too. You obviously know nothing about computers if you even think about saying that. That's like saying my custom built rig won't accept a 660ti because it's an Nvidia card instead of my AMD card. Or even saying that your motherboard won't accept a 5850 because it's not a 5770? I'm done here because I've made you look like a fool enough and I've wasted too much time on this post ranting from your stupidity.

Will this game run on my pc?

I'm 16, don't make any money, and have an old computer.
Will it run with these specs.

CPU: Pentium D 2.8ghz (I can upgrade to core 2 duo or core 2 quad if completely necessary)

RAM: 2gb ddr2 (can upgrade to 8gb but it is really expensive)

Graphics: Nvidia geforce 8400 GS 512mb (planning on buying it tomorrow because my computer only has pci-e 1.0 and it is compatible, tell me if I should
just skip it and get a better card. Newer cards won't be compatible with my pc and would probably be bottlenecked if they were)

HDD: Some old sata western digital 80gb

    Monitor: Old 4/3 acer 1280x1024

Will it run decently well at 1024x768 with these specs? Have you guys tried running the game on anything but almost brand new pc's?

I'll try and give you a quick benchmark, if you can run Crysis and Rigs of Rods then you may be OK. But in future, check the FAQ or check around the forum for the answer to this question. Its been asked many, many times.

Re: Will this game run on my pc?

I think the cpu will be the problem. If you are going to buy a new one i suggest you to buy the 2 quad its way better than the 2 duo :)

For example i have an 6 year old 1.8 GHz 2 quad CPU and i can run all these games :GTA IV, LA Noire, NFS The Run,NFS Most Wanted 2012 on minimum requirments(I run them on min req because my graphics card is weak (256 on 128 bits))

If you buy that graphics card i believe you won't have any problems runnig the game.

I think 2 gb of ram is enough to run the game.

Well we dont know the actual size of the game but i dont think it will be bigger than 10-15 GB

i would hope its not that big im running out of space on my 500gb hard drive, and anyway gtaIV was only about 8gb so i doubt it will be that big. I would say more 5-10gb.

I got the graphics card today and it plays RoR well at 1280x1024. Are there any other free games I can test with?

Honestly I think you will have some significant framerate issues in BeamNG's new game.
The game is dependant on both Graphics and CPU, both in which you are lacking in.

Sure it may work fine, but I wouldn't recommend less than a 8800GTX and a Core 2 duo 1.8-2.2GHz.

I guess another free game you could test with is Runescape (No hate). It's overall pretty system-intensive to weaker computers in Direct-X or OpenGL mode.

I just don;t have the money to do all this, I think I would be better off waiting until i can custom build a pc instead of upgrading this old dell.

Re: Will this game run on my pc?

    That's completely understandable.
Look it doesn't hurt to try and play it once it's released, at least then you'll know for sure by trying.

Knowing CryEngine, it can be pretty demanding at times. I'm just not sure an 8400GS will cover it.
You have quite a long time (many months) before they release it so you can use that time to save up and perhaps build a nice $500-600 system using last-generation components or the generation before (Still VERY decent by todays standards).

EDIT: I managed to build up an entire system spec sheet for $450 that would play this game quite smoothly (and leaves "SOME" room for minor upgrades). If you live outside of Australia expect this price to be quite a bit lower (because the price I listed is for Australian-purchased components).

    Specs and pricing:

OS: $92.99 - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM
    CPU: $42.74 - Intel Celeron Processor G540
    GPU: $74.62 - AMD Radeon 6670
PSU: $43.51- Antec 350W Strictly Power Supply
Case: $41.75 COOLERMASTER MASTER ELITE 343
    Storage: $57.99, $51.98 - Toshiba 500GB 7200RPM, Boot SSD OCZ Agility 3 60GB
    Motherboard: $44.77 - ASRock H61M-VS-R2
    Memory: $24.20 Corsair CMX4GX3M1A1333C9 4GB

    i actually have windows 7 already :)
Uh, isn't a celeron pretty low end?
That's a pretty sweet pc though, blows mine away. The pc I have right now would be worth upgrading if it had pci-e 2.0 imo

Sandy Bridge Celerons are still plenty powerful. (Dual-core 2.5GHz)
If you needed more power simply slot in something like an i5 2400-2500k.

Imo PCI-E 1.0 will still work with something like an 8800GTS or maybe even a lower-end card like a Radeon 6670.

Looks like I'll be adding this thread to my growing list of links for the next jackass that asks this question. There's some good advice here.

I don't think that buying a "All in one pc" would be a good ideea.

If you want a pc for gaming you should look at something like this:
http://www.cel.ro/calculatoare-desktop/diaxxa-spectre-i7_3770-2tb-8gb-ddr3-gt-650-2gb-ddr5-l/ (it is a romanian site but i think you get the point ;))

It would be better if you built a pc from scratch putting just the component you like.

If you can tell us how much money you can spend i can build you a pc with (in my opinion) pretty good parts.

What he said, if you want a decent PC that will be able to run this well whilst keeping the price down your best to build it yourself, rather than buy one from Dell. Regardless of budget...
