Took apart my laptop since the audio jack was fukd (Sounded like whispering when there was no audio and moving the plug would make crackling and sometimes not working) and replaced the daughterboard so that was all fine and fixed but I musta messed something up putting it back together because now it's like constantly right clicking or something so I can't do anything. So for now I'm using my ultrabook with it's shitty ass 768p screen. EVERYTHING IS BIG AND PIXELY AND I DON'T LIKE IT. BAH. EDIT: THE TRACKPAD HAS NO MIDDLE CLICK. I KEEP TRYING TO SCROLL WITH THE RIGHT CLICK BUTTON. I WISH I WAS DEAD.
I have a question. How much money do you think I could get for a PAL SNES with the original Cables and Powerbrick. It's also not yellow on the underside, which AFAIK ia quite rare. I've also vor the original Controller for it. Games I have for it are SMW 2 Yoshis Island, Mario is missing and Popuolus. I can only ship in Germany though. --edit-- Forgot that I also have the Super GameBoy and a des games for the SGB.
F:NV has improved game mechanics and is a generally better game, but Fo3 is a much better Fallout. I mean, what is 9 nukes for the entire map?
Fallout 3 is very nice in atmosphere, the Capital Wasteland was definitely one of my favourite maps to explore. But the story is terrible and so are the characters. There's also very little player freedom: the Brotherhood is ALWAYS friendly no matter what you do, the Enclave is ALWAYS hostile, and nothing you do really impacts the game world at all. I mean, you can nuke megaton and literally the only thing that will change is one line when you talk to your dad. Oh, and you lose a bunch of merchants and a possible home. New Vegas is a bit duller in atmosphere, but there are still a ton of great places to explore with stories behind them (Vault 11 is a great example), and the story, while not amazing (guy killed you, get revenge, smh you get involved in a war), actually makes sense. There are some characters you might actually care about (most companions are great characters for example). You have a lot more freedom, you can follow any of 4 main quest arcs with any of the major factions, as well as join (or destroy) smaller groups (BoS, Boomers, Khans). You can also kill every single NPC in the game (with the exception of yes man, who acts as the "backup main questline"), fallout 3 is full of essential NPC's. New Vegas is also much closer to the original games if you're a fan of those. FO3 would've been a better Fallout, if the story and characters didn't suck. It's still an amazing game though, but NV is better.
Bethesda fucked up for the most part on Fo3. Obsidian made NV, as a studio which was partially people from Black Isle who made the previous games, they knew what they were doing, knew how to do it properly. New Vegas is a better game, but it just does not seem to fit into the universe so well, unlike 3 which was perfectly radioactive for the job. Fallout 3 story isn't as bad as it is executed, it could be much better if extended and with more options, the main structure reused would usable, but nobody bothered with that. Too bad Sawyer didn't take the contracts. Lets just hope that Bethesda learned something from Obsidian, so that the story in upcoming game(s) won't be as weak as in 3. also seeing a amber gui makes me want to murder, its green or nothing.
Yeah but its set in the same compatibility mode as it was before I upgraded from windows 7 and it just opens the launcher but hitting play basically closes the launcher and then nothing happens. I have new Vegas but really haven't played it much, want to replay fallout 3 first.
Im such a fucken stalker. I was looking at this Commodore on Gumtree when I noticed it just said the Suburb & not the address that it was at, so I decided to find where it was. Took me 5 minutes on Google street view to locate the address the Commodore is at. I should do this professionally. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/port-kembla/cars-vans-utes/2000-holden-commodore/1083296385
I hate I/O switches. Can't ever remember which way is on. Isnt it I? No wait, I think it's O. Damn things.
Yeah I know it's from binary but, shit, I hardly know what binary is. Apparently this became the standard print for switches because not everyone understands one particular language. Out of all things to make it, they pick an I and an O, because a hell of a lot more people know binary than English right? It could be a check and an X, anything. Hell, a thumbs up and a thumbs down would work better than a fucking o and an I. /rant
finally made a video of me bowling. im a not as good as usual because i havent had time to practice, but i think my form is pretty consistant
That's not common sense. Of course you say that. It's how you think. Not everyone uses that super logical, literal train of thought. I'm preaching to the wrong crowd here. Apparently this forum doesn't understand that not everyone thinks like a computer.
