TIS-100 i pretty awesome. Usually im not a fan of assembly language and this game allows me to remember why, but it is nice to be doing something challenging.
I'm downloading a Windows 98 .iso now so I can destoy it in a... intresting way. Also so that I can be sure that the viruses can't do anything since they'll be made for Win98.
I don't want it to end that way, I want it to die slowly and painfully. Actually, I'll set it up multiple times and kill it like 5 times . --edit-- VM 5.0 won't finish installing :c
I have an idea. I'll download every Windows version from 95 to Vista and kill it in interesting ways. It will take up like 7GB but I have 4TB (actually 3.5, I've already used 500GB)
It'll take a lot more than 7GB. You're going to have to create a partition for each OS, minimum being around 20GB. Also the malware could affect other partitions as well as lock you from booting the computer. That's why people do this with either POS junkers or virtual machines, not their actual good computer
Just boot the .iso file in Oracle VM VirtualBox. That way you don't run the risk of accidentally installing viruses and malware onto your main operating system.
Still gonna be under 150 GB, so it shouldn't be too bad. And I will only do this on a VM, that is unless I can get my old Pc with XP up and running, which would be fun Yeah, that's what I'll do. I just got a 450-ish MB WIN98 iso to mess around with.
VM 5.0 is done installing, I'll try it out once I finisched watching Joel destroy Windows 7 (1 hour left)
If you reverse imagesearch it, the image itself and more from that same ford actually trace back to a guy named Ty from Newcastle Australia. Matt... wat?
I just downloaded VM v 4.1.12 since everything above that doesn't work in Winodws 10 due to somwkind of security proving.
Im writing this via. Window XP. I cant find the apostrophy on the american keyboard layout, which is great.
While I was doing my I.D.T work, I noticed something in this boot picutre. Is that an i5-2500k at 4.84GHz?! That's the higest I've ever seen that chip go! But more importantly, why out of all the pictures they choose for school work, they use an overclocked chip?
