You can just add it without applying it, this also allows you to select and mark sharp edges using ctrl+e. You can then tick apply modifers when you export which will apply them to the mesh but not in blender. Its best to mark edges while you work otherwise its a big task after. I cant blame you though i never used edge split while modelling for a year into learning at least
I have started a thread on my Subaru project but I have found I haven't gotten much help there so I decided to ask here on the development screens. this might sound like a silly question but is this a good way to set up vehicle blueprints? and do you trace the blueprints?
i will use blender as well as Sketchup plus I already started i am using this video as a tutorial its quite old but it gave me the idea. - - - Updated - - - a little more progress
Is it just me, or either Ilya's Blista is oversized or the other four cars aren't scaled properly yet?
