    hello all

i have a question. whenever my wheel spawns, it glitches and explodes. my suspension without the wheel works fine and is setup how its supposed to be. It seems to be the wheel axle nodes that are the problem as well because when i delete them, the problem is gone.

    thanks,

beamSpring is causing rapid fluctuation due to the weights. Lower it so it doesn't get out of control ;) (only on the new beams though)

Change any beamStrength values of the axle assembly from FLT_MAX to a reasonable number, if any. Reload and check the debug for the first beams that break and either reduce beamDamp/Spring or increase nodeWeight for the affected node/beam group until your skeleton is stable.

scratch that. i can get the wheel to spawn. i need to find the right torque arm thing. as for the black glitchy thing, i can figure it out

wheels now explode when spawned. the suspension is fine. but the wheel jbeam like implodes or soemthing

Edit the hub beamSprings , don't go too low though. Also make sure you copy the scaling values for each jbeam file, if applicable.

Doesnt fix it. the wheels still explode

    edit.
i made all three the same number. the wheel stayed intact, but broke suspension. gonna see about tweaking and if that fixes it

    edit.

the wheel just flops around because beamspring isnt high enough. any higher though and it explodes.

i have tried all the weights and values.

also, the suspension is from a working setup, as in all the values should already work. all i did was move it into place and attach it to the car and it started exploding

    edit

i have also tried making so there is only the frame, the rollcage, the wheels and the suspension in the folder. I removed all scale settings and it still does it.

    edit:
tried why you said goosah, but it doesnt matter if scale is in the main or in all of them, it still explodes

The scaling has to be the same in all jbeam files, or only defined in the master. Otherwise kablooey every time.

ive seen this before and it only happened when i put the jbeam too far away from the suspension, this might be the same problem?

nope. i have moved it in closer and it does the same thing

i also moved the wheel the same value amount as the suspension(1 up on the x axis, 2 up on the y axis and 2 up on the z axis)
