I'd love it if you could take some detailed close up pictures of the headlights and taillights. I also really need some shots under the car but they're pretty hard to get

Will do. Note that the taillights are different on the version one has. The GTI/GTD/GTE have LED taillights whereas the basic versions have ordinary lights. Same for the headlights.
I can't wait for this. I have a Mk6 GTI, not a Mk7 but still. I have really wanted a nice hatch for the game. And one that is modern (*cough* covet *cough*).
Updates on headlights and general refinement on panels thanks to Racer19. I'm currently working on the rear seats and the rest of the interior as well as adding more polys in low poly areas.
Great progress guys im so excited to have this. one question. will there be slammed versions with camber or is that not even possible?
I love the look of the model, but I would caution you to experiment with JBeam prior to finishing the model itself. That is, unless you're already familiar with JBeam and/or have already lined someone up to JBeam it.
