so i started up beamng since i haven't played in a while and it seems that some of my car mods work but all the rest of the mods i installed don't work including levels. did the last update stop the mods from working?

Where did you put the mods?

Make sure they're in Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods , and that the structure of the zip is MODNAME.zip > levels > MODNAME > (mod's files here)

I'm not sure about this one, but maybe without an info.json in the mod, levels might now show up, though I'm not sure about this.

If the car has no version available it doesn't matter because you can still spawn it, and for everything else that didn't show up: try what I said above, "make sure the structure of the zip is MODNAME.zip > levels (or vehicles) > MODNAME > (mod's files here)".

Also try copying info.json from an official map into a mod map and editing some of the parameters inside like changing the name, that's fixed every map I couldn't get to work.

This, and I also found that for some levels if they still don't show up: extract the .zip and make a "levels" folder, then put the levelname inside (making it: mods\levels\levelname) fixes it for some older maps.

Oh yeah, I hadn't thought of that. That's another way of doing it, especially if you intent to modify the level.

Although I must add that the name of the zip doesn't have to correspond to inner folder. Example:

zipname.zip > levels > imdifferent > (contents here) will still work.

also I feel odd being the only non-furry here

The Bentley is a badly made, no longer supported mod.
Please only download mods from this site.

no-one gonna change where i get my mods. it's useless to try man. its not gonna be here until they actually start making cars that i think are good but since it's in alpha it's not gonna happen for a long time.

First of all, did you even read it? Don't respond with: "I don't care if the car doesn't deform correctly/perfectly." If you don't [care], then why are you even playing BeamNG.drive?

who cares, let him download the crappy, terrible mods (some are ALRIGHT I suppose). people need to stop forcing eachother's opinions down everyone else's throats. and yes, the fact that people hate these Russian mods is mostly opinionated, I know of several Russian mods that are actually forum-worthy, but are stolen mesh's etc so they wont fly here.

well yeah im not going to just ignore someone but ive already read it before. the mods on the sites i go to are actually good. i downloaded a Subaru wrx sti and it had one of the best engine models iv'e seen. and im playing it because i can put the mods i want into it. simple as that.

yeah im not looking for honda's. im looking for stuff like a pagani zinque roadster or a Bentley GT. i have downloaded "regular" street cars but there just....meh. i'd like to see 2014 Koenigsegg Agera R but with the body strength it has i can't find one (that works and is accurate). that vehicle is the best car in the world.

Just because its pretty doesnt redeem it as a crap mod. Especially when they just slap it on a stock jbeam.

I dunno, those racing pack cars had terrible textures and the suspension and engine models were crap IMO, they drive great tho...plus, they were essentially nabbed from another game, so the models are not totally original.. However, they did a great job fitting the JBeams and stuff, so the mods themselves are great, but IMO they could be a lot better. The WRX he is talking about on the Russian site has an amazing engine model, the jbeam is crap tho, handles like a GM iirc

that's true. it doesnt handle well but eh im not complaining. i do agree they shouldnt be ripped off and if they should do that they should give proper credit. i myself wouldnt if i could create mods but since i cant i really can't control what they do.

well yeah if its crap then its crap but that's why i try them.
