I kinda knew they existed but had no idea what they did or why. The only reason i even slightly knew they existed was from playing The Sims. We have a few cooking/food and drink heating things: Oven Hob Microwave Toaster Kettle Toastie maker Panini maker But that is everything as far as making food hot is concerned. I just cut bagels in half and shove them in the toaster then eject them when i think they will be done and butter them as needed. Same with croissants but i may add golden syrup to them. It's like an oven but it heats up a lot quicker. Not as fast as a microwave but none of that uneven heat shit. Great for leftover pizza. I've also used it to reflow a GPU once or twice. Dafuq is a hob though.
What the hell do you stick a pan on to boil if you dont have a hob? Apparently for those who dont speak true english, a hob may be known as a stovetop.

Well, let me go on a rant... I HATE WINDOWS RIGHT NOW Alright so I have a Toshiba laptop and so does my mom. In fact we have the same exact laptop. Same model, everything. I'm sitting here trying to figure out why the hell I don't have the ability to upgrade to Windows 10. On the other hand my moms computer has the ability to do so. And my sisters. Let me remind you... WE ALL HAVE THE SAME EXACT COMPUTER. The Microsoft company is pissing me off. I cant upgrade and I have been on hold with Microsoft for over 20 minutes. And the reason why is because millions of people like me are having this problem. Why cant Microsoft get their act together and help people? My friend has an ASUS laptop that runs on windows and he recently just upgraded to windows 10. For some dumb ass reason the update deleted every single one of his drivers on his computer. He contacted Microsoft and asked why he can't use the mouse pad on his computer. They directed him to the system drivers and the information could not be found. After a while of troubleshooting they determined that the update must have deleted the files and that he would have to pay for them. At that point he exploded on them saying, "Why in the hell should I have to pay for the drivers when your update screwed the up?" I agreed with him and he asked Microsoft if he could get free copies of the drivers because their update messed them up. Guess what? They said no. No we are both pissed at Microsoft. Glad I got that off my chest... Who else wants to add to my insanity?
Yep... Microsoft has great support. I also dislike Microsoft, quite a bit. For example, new with windows 10, you can't have a profile picture that is square. Reason Microsoft? "People aren't sqaures!". ... Seriously Microsoft? You're just kidding, right? Nope. Just wait. Soon we'll see the all new Microsoft Ellipse! The world's first circular monitor! (Or something stupid like that...) That's just one reason to dislike Microsoft though. There are many more...
Just use the Media Creation Tool to upgrade manually. Also, why the hell would MS charge you for drivers which 1. are not made/supported by them, but by the computer's OEM and 2. should be available for download from the OEM's website? That sounds more like a clueless support guy TBH.
I played Fallout NV. Took everything in my aid list and got addicted to all of it. Then murdered an entire town. Fun game.
