It was a fun little test, but now I'm finished with it So here it is, some of you may enjoy it. I will wait for hooks to be properly implemented before making an official tow truck add-on, but this one works well enough to mess around with. Use the signal keys to lower the cable, and then drive something over top of it, and bring it up. You'll need to catch a node, so it can be a hit and miss. I added damping to the hook so it doesn't fly around so much It was difficult when you can't just move it with your hand. Ps, yes I know it's not how a real tow truck works. But I wanted a GTA SA style one. Drop the zip in: Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods Select the tow config from the vehicle menu Enjoy!
that looks cool as Drowsy. I love it now I can recreate scenes from Smash Palace now drowsy any chance of making a car wrecker similar to Horopito auto wreckers.
Try to clear cache ?? If that dont work try to use the thing from the SAVE & LOAD menu by pressing CTRL+W
I think the D-15 might not be enough truck, after dragging around a wheel-less van for about 20 minutes, it's starting to bend in half, but I love it. The little 2wd I-6 seems to get around pretty well with that much dead weight behind it, it's drug the van through the mud, over the small rocks, and all of the suspension tests, and it just keeps going.
KDST- the dust. man i miss San Andreas. this is just another reason to download it again. great mod though. someone needs to make a radio mod so i can listen to kdst and radio x
This ain't how tow trucks work, lol Good job, now if only this were to be put on a more stable/strong chassis... like a heavy duty truck or van or something... Wink wink? The Pigeon looks hilarious though.
