    Oh.
I'd track down a vinyl seat if I bought a car with one of those in the back.
I still think it'd be kinda cool to buy a car from a pd that hasn't really been "domesticated" yet. It'd be a lot more work and money to get it looking good, but it'd be neat to have the partition, window bars, plastic seat, and center console for a few days before I ripped all that shit out.
Knoxville pd sells their cars like that.

Those would be really uncomfortable, but weight reduction bro. Or make your rear seat passengers really feel like criminals, how about both?
Side note, although CVPIs are cool, I'd rather get a Mark VIII and upgrade it a bit.

The stock rear seat bottom weighs like 4 pounds. It's literally a big piece of foam with rubber wrapped around it.
The rear seat back probably weighs 10 pounds. 14lbs isn't gonna make any bit of difference on how a crown vic handles.
I would make people ride back there for as long as I had that stuff though.

Not too long ago our county sheriff's office had a couple P71's for sitting in there parking lot with for sale signs in them, where I swear all they did was take the decals off and empty the trunk, as in it still had everything from the push bars to the light bar to the partition to the huge console. Although they did both have proper vinyl rear seats, and like 230,000 miles.

I though about grabbing one of them, they both sold for less than a grand. I just didnt have anything else to spend at the time.

Correction, one of them did still have the decals.

Also on the topic of Crown Vics, this Indiana Sheriffs FCV is in Australia. Not road legal so he has to tow it with his Holden Statesman.

Tour of the vehicle. (Either there are 2 separate ones in Au or he has changed stuff between that pic & this vid)

    @utes

Some students at a school supported by Skoda made an ute out of the new Fabia.

Painfully ugly and ironically impractical if you ask me, but oh well.

And a few years back someone did it with a Yeti

Why did they not use the Roomster/Praktik? That would probably be the ideal Skoda to make a pickup from.

I can say the video makes some valid points and some not which you made clear of today. I think it depends on how you look at the car and its specs and the reason for buying it.

Also what is everybody's thought on a 2006 Ford Explorer.

I don't care for any Explorers older than 2011, especially the first two generations (1990-2001), because they are rollovers.

    (imported from here)

    Muh new scooter.

Bought it fairly cheap today and rode it around a bit. I suspect either a messed up air/fuel mixture or a vacuum leak as it won't idle at all and sometimes dies at lower RPM. (Idle screw was already turned in all the way.) That and the guages not working are the only issues I know of right now. Also it's clearly been on its side once or twice, so that's nice.

49cc, 30ish, I'm guessing. That's the legal limit to ride it without a licence. Not too bad though, a bit of a tuneup and it should be OK.
