you know JRI will there be a housing complex on the map in the future (knowing DRI is being replased by JRI)

If newbies wonder what JRI and DRI mean.

    JRI: Jungle Rock Island

    DRI: Dry Rock Island

this fits that screenshot since it was shot on JRI by the looks of it.

    Give us sbr4 please.

Are we sure it's scaled correctly? It looked a bit small in the YouTube header.

Pretty sure they're positive it's the size they want it, even if it's an odd size

Yeah I thought it was odd since the GTR is a massive vehicle, its like the Japanese Hellcat. But if Gabe wants a smaller, more agile vehicle, then who are we to judge?

It's precisely as big as it needs to be (and not obese like a GTR). It actually has slightly more rear legroom than the Sunburst. One of the original design goals was to have maximum interior room and visibility in the smallest footprint possible.

This car gets the top spot for "most anticipated car ever" for me at least.

Comparing an AWD sportscar against an MR sportscar more than twenty years its senior?

    gebstur pls, youre above this.

Regarding the SBR4, I don't think I've ever seen the entire front guard support structure follow the curvature of the wheel like that. Most (all?) modern unibody cars have a void on the outer bounds of the structure, with only the inner section curved so the splashtray/wheel well liner can clip to it. The outer section is usually a couple sheets of stamped high strength spot welded together forming a prism projecting forward from the base of the a pillar, with a support beam forming a triangle (ilumingasty) underneath. The curved inner section and strut tower is also a pressed sheet of high-strength spot-welded to the front guard support structure, unibody, and lower framerails.
Another thing, sill panels never project further out than the lowest point of the door aperture. Side skirts, however, often do. Reason being the difficulty of repair. Having an integral part of the unibody sticking out and 'Netflix & chilling' with every speedbump and curb is not ideal; a clip on piece of plastic doing that is much better.

But you knew this, of course ;)

Fantastic work though. Your attention to detail and eye for design is something to admire.

You're probably right, but since the SBR4 has no real life analog, things are a little weird. It has huge wheels and a tiny front end, so the front inner fender bodywork just barely wraps around it. Plus it's got those big intakes on either side in front of the front wheels, which have to be squished so the front wheels can turn. I pretty much just built the front end by connecting the dots. As for the sideskirt - I think it looks better without a panel gap :p
