Okay...it has happened. The Quad Goldfish is for sale on eBay. Have no idea what I'm getting myself into. Writing the description was fun though. http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/321863610272?
I'll figure it out. Shouldn't be too difficult to ship it. There are no refunds anyway. Although I do genuinely want to get it to someone if they actually want it.
Sure, why the hell not? If you win and I get it shipped out to you, you better update us on the life of the Quad Goldfish . - - - Updated - - - Alright, I'm going to sleep now. I expect bidding to have reached at least $500 by morning.
I'm starting to see way too much threads like these on the BeamNG's Steam Forum: "Mac version" "Ples meak for MAC" "I bought geam but no worki on my mac (" "y u no maek for mak u no want 2 be good compeny??" "It would be good if we were told upfront that it doesn't work on Mac. Money already spent and now we can't play it. WHAT A SCAM! I WANT A REFUND!!!!" I'm starting to get very worried about the average mac user. LifeSavingTip: Check system requirements when purchasing a software.
Really appreciate what you do and how much patience you have, nade. If I had to deal with the Steam forum, I probably would have fashioned a crude shank and driven it into my grey matter long ago.
So umm, guys. I was just playing pCars and smoke started pouring out of my steering wheel. i had to rip all the connectors out of it and hold it out the window so it didn't set the smoke alarms off. Scared the crap out of me, the wheel was still working when the smoke was pouring out too.
See, the quad goldfish makes mortal cats cower in terror. Also, we have a bid! eBay user buba_scot has placed a starting bid at $0.50 3 upvotes on the Reddit post in /r/ebaytreausres. I call it a success.
We now have a third family car! It's a 2007 Subaru Outback, will get pics on this post soon. Edit: Here it is.
My family owns one of those. they let me daily drive it. its so much fun to drive. the acceleration is just good enough and, once you figure out how to do corners at speed in it, it can be a TON of fun to drive. Plus it can haul a lot of stuff. i have carried 11 desktops in it. and when my teacher couldnt fit stuff in his measly sedan(a projector and screen) i was able to transport it for him
Why not an emulator? Dolphin does GameCube games, plus you can bump up the resolution and make it look gorgeous. To me there's no sense in owning vintage consoles if there's a perfect emulator for PC already out there. *also with an emulator you can get free ROMs and play every game you've ever wanted to
I run Dolphin to play NASCAR Thunder 2003 and it happens to have an issue with the sound where it cuts out every half-second. I'd like to hook my Wii back up and buy the game itself off of Ebay or Amazon or something. But other than glitches, emulators are great.
That can probably be resolved with different audio settings. If all else fails, use the software interpreter for the audio. That's nearly guaranteed to work. Also make sure you're running the latest build. They're into 5.0 now, so get rid of 4.0.
