I have a problem that the hydros I create always compress instantly, no matter where I put it. I don't have any controllers or steering wheels or anything plugged in. Only a keyboard and mouse. I tried copying the hydro code from multiple different vehicles, didn't work. I tried putting the hydro code to a separate file, didn't work. I tried adding an input:steering code, didn't work. I don't know what to do anymore.. I'm pretty sure this is caused by some stupid simple error somewhere, but I have no idea where I should start looking. All wild guesses are welcome! I'm sure that someone has had a similar problem before, but I just can't figure out why it is doing this. Pictures: I'm using a steering rail setup very similar to the new sbr. Thanks in advance for any guesses or help!
Re: Volvo c30 -Steering hydro problem. I'm sorry, I have no idea whats wrong. Hopefully somebody dose, I don't know much about that, sorry man.
Re: Volvo c30 -Steering hydro problem. inputSource seems to be deprecated. Closely study the construction of the official steering systems, rebuild yours to take advantage of slidenodes, and transplant n/b values from an official vehicle and tune it until it works properly. You're also missing the nodes and beams sections; did you build the rest of the assembly as part of the main n/b structure? Don't know? Don't post. Very simple. Now you've revealed to everyone that you're 12. Good job.
Re: Volvo c30 -Steering hydro problem. This is pretty much an exact copy of the new SBR steering setup. Car body, suspension and steering hydros are on separate jbeams. Hydros and suspension used to be in the same jbeam, but I made separate jbeam only for hydros to see if it helps. Same results both ways. This simplified version of the structure: And as I said before to my understanding the new SBR uses this exact same method. - - - Updated - - - Nevermind. I got it working. I copied all my files to another folder and remade my main jbeam file, and copied all the nodes and beams from the original..... Now it works like a charm, except now my car material has dissapeared... Well atleast I can test drive it now.
Re: Volvo c30 -Steering hydro problem. inputSource is very well alive. You don`t see it much because by default it`s steering.
