Outdated Crawl Central - Updated for +0.5.0.0 1.0

Seeing that ther are not really any updated ot realistic crawler maps I have decided to make on. I have done many many great crawler maps so I have decided to make on for the community.

Credits to dev team for textures and objects

I have decided not to do any cheater trails as this is a heavy offroad crawling track
And this map took me a long time as is. This is the biggest map I've done so my patients is not all here to put that much work in.

This is not a map to bash around in or youll start to get pissed. Haha. Its called crawling for a reason. Slow and low

Moderator Edit: Replaced the download with a version provided from user @Josh, who kindly provided a re-packed version of this map which should work fine in the latest versions of BeamNG.Drive.

Small update from last night. All Rocks are hand placed individualy for the best realism look. As of now im just laying out the trail so it will look more real when i get closer to done

can you add a exit route around some of the lager ones if were using a not so offroad car

yes ill make trails around since I plan on making it a hard trail. I am restarting the trail becaus. the rock texture wont match the rock terrain textures and the rocks im using are a little off on the contact and catch me up

Been wanting a dedicated crawler map. Am downloading now, will let you know what I think of it once I play with it for a bit.

Edit: To be honest, I think the map is pretty awesome how it is, even after playing it for a few minutes. Lots of places to climb. Keep up the great work.

Also, I use the DW Rock Bouncer I found here on the forums, so can climb just about everywhere. Have to be careful in spots as well or you will overturn and get stuck like a turtle, lol. Like I said already, great map. Been waiting for one of these for a long time.

There was a big off-road kick a long while ago but all the crawling maps seemed to be done with. I'm so glad to see a new one and from you of all people. Can't wait for the download to finish! Thanks!

Ive noticed that as well Ive been on this forum ever since it started pretty much and was pretty disappointed on the lack of crawling but i tottaly understood as the game just wasnt ready for them yet with all the rock snags and lack of good gearing. Thanks I really appreciate it. Thats a real inspiration to do even better. Haha. I myself have been offroading since I was 9 driving a dodge ram 2500 v10 granny gear on our 10 acres. Since then I've driven many many cars and trucks offroad including Lexus and bmws. I am now 21 curently owning a 1990 gmc suburban, 94 350 v8 4runner crawler, and a bagged 48ford panel wagon. so needless to say i really am going to be trying my hardest to get the full offroad effects.

Well since you and a few others have been making so many offroad mods i have started getting back into making maps(mainly glassview), so maybe there will be another offroad boom in the near future, the last one died off after dkutch left and his mods became outdated

i really love the work you guy´s do and i only bought beamng because of the ability to crawl.

I have been offroading for 15 years but sadly i dont have any 1:1 at the moment so i have to still my crawling needs in beamng so some new maps is more than welcome

I must say this map had been a real pain. Its the biggest map I've done and with hand placing all the rocks it is taking me some time. Im only about 30% done maybe less. It will be some time before a release it I promise it will be worth it.

A little more progress done to the map. Its coming along alot of work has gone into this. Ive work almost all day everyday on it so I hope you are all pleased on the release

Getting pretty far on the map. Maybe about half way done. Was thinking I can have someone make a video on it but im not sure who can or will. Any ideas or takers?

I can make a video of just running the trail, but not something fancy like Nads or Krytons.

That would be awsome if you can! I did want to do both running the trail and another driving it. Ill have the map done in the morning so you can play with it then. And ill ask one of them to see if they can make one driving it.

Downloading now. Also, probably should make sure to delete the other version first before installing since they are different file names.

EDIT: Just played on the new version for about a half an hour. Great map, can be challenging at times if you're not careful you will find yourself on your roof, lol. I'd say this is map is a long time coming for those of us who have wanted a dedicated rock crawling map. Thanks for the work you have put into this map.

 

The map is amazing with just as much quality as v1 spread out as far as I could manage to drive in about a 45 min crawling section in the 8x8 truck. It's a blast! Amazing layout requiring different lines depending on what you are driving. I haven't even checked out all the map but I'm in love! Thanks so much for this map ADAM001 and I for sure look forward to whatever else you have to share with us!
