I will look into that It wonders slightly due to torque, but if you treat it before it starts to slowly get out of control it is pretty manageable, you just have to watch your throttle on corner entry/exit. Mmmm.... (imported from here) (imported from here) Rear-End remodeled... Agian! [Still needs minor tweaks] Rear-End to be re-jbeamed [will accommodate less nodes/beams for less weight] Wing to be re-jbeamed and have model tweaked [Will connect to chassis rather than bodywork now, have new side pieces, and acquire new connection parts] Tail-Lights Planned Exhaust removed for now Stripe Removed "I know the model is too wide, it will be fixed" - Slayersen ^ Please don't make a huge storm of comments about this ^ Aside from this, please give all feedback possible, I feel this is a huge improvement on an otherwise cumbersome piece of bodywork. - - - Updated - - - Remodeled Exhaust and Rear-Wing.
The body looks frikin legit. EDIT : Meh, forget it :v In my opinion, the tires are look a bit of small.
IMO i don't like the square vent ( at least how it currently looks) but the rest of the car looks awesome! just my 2c
I think it looks great! I like the vibe between GT and Group C and it feels like a big improvement over the previous version. May I suggest you a sideskirt design similar to that applied to the Ford Capri IMSA? It should help blend in the massive vents and it's also kind of period correct for what you're aiming to do with this mod. Anyway, keep up the good work, I love the idea and what you've done so far!
Are you planning on having a race livery? The chrome finish looks kinda out of place on a racecar. Maybe something like this?
Since the rear end is improved, move the lights a bit farther inwards, they seem a bit separated and pointed outwards.
i think the lights need the corners rounded, rather than being sharp, same with the grill (imported from here)
Should I just give the whole front a makeover and add a skirt to the side to allow it to blend together?
But it could also use twice the resolution as it is very low quality.. it has about 1/4th the res of the rear end. - - - Updated - - - Disclaimer: Image is just a visual aid not the actual planned design. (imported from here) Does anyone know what the poly flow of the side for a flat "Quarterpanal" on a racecar like this should look like? - - - Updated - - - I am kind of heading in a different direction... I have my reasons for not making it this way.
I think a front splitter going in between the tip of the two front fenders would look great. It with also help with downforce.
I also want to proof it first meaning I am still constantly looking it over deleting bits and remodeling them until it looks good enough for public eyes... I can't show everyone something that alpha without getting backlash from everyone and their pet dogs about how it'works wrong before it's even past pre-alpha. Just 6-8hrs ago this morning I went and deleted the entire tip of the front to redo it as it wasn't up to par. Excuse poor English/grammar I'm on a cell phone right now
