Forum changes

I am really liking this on my iPhone. Works much, much better than before on mobile. I am really impressed! Keep it up.

 

My display is 4k, that's probably why.

Tapatalk is pretty bad IMO. The mobile web interface is quite nice anyways.

The only thing I want back (unless I am just missing where it went) is my ability to see my subscribed threads... Now I know there is a "Watched Threads" and "Watched Forums" button, but if you go and mark all the newest threads as read, nothing pops up under those tabs anymore.

What I used to do is I would get on here every day and click the "Whats New" button and scroll through all the new threads and see whats all been going on. Once I was done with that I would click the "Mark Forums Read" button to make sure that I wouldn't accidentally get into something old and bump it. Then I would go to my "Subscribed Threads" button and see if I missed anything there in case I skipped over it in the "Whats New" section.

Do the "Watched Threads" and "Watched Forums" take over the command of the "Subscribed Threads" button or am I just missing something? Other then that I like all the new features that have been added a lot, especially the look!

 

This is confusing af (the following & followers lists). Why is the lists the same except there is two more people in the following list.

 

The followers/following thingy is very simple. You can follow people or people can follow you. If you follow your friend and vice versa, you are "officially" friends

 

I find the layout to be very confusing. However it looks very elegant. I generally like it I just think it could be easier to use it and find things on the forms.

 

I think that the new mobile layout has improved greatly, I'll have to check out the desktop version when I get home. I'm not surprised by the negative feedback, especially since the forums has had a consistent layout since day one.

 

I want the default tab upon entering a profile to be Postings, not Profile Posts (aka Visitor Messages). Thanks!

Whow...how long was I gone :O
I kinda like the new design...and I usually hate changes. The only two things I dislike are the sticky "toolbar" at the top of the browser and the fact that the threads in the mods section display the avatar of the OP instead of a picture of the vehicle/map etc. (but I am pretty sure this one will chage)

I knew some day a forum change might take place and I was scared of it...but you totally nailed this one in my opinion

 

If you're still working on this, ignore me, but there's currently both discussions and forums in a group. All the old discussions have been filed under discussions, but the default page for a group is the forum. I have no idea what the difference is or which one I should be using.
