Truthfully, have a ton of patience. That is how you make the simplest of vehicles.

First thing you need is a basic model for your vehicle.

Even if it's a boxy car with wheel cutouts

That is a little more complex, will require pretty mild modeling knowledge and moderate jbeam knowledge as suspension will be necessary unless you use the current trailer as your basis for your trailer.

If the ladder is chosen than it will be more on the minor level of things but still you'll need to make new nodes, beams, and coltris most indefinitely.

    What type of trailer?

A talented user could create one in less than 5hrs, I however don't have the jbeam skills to do suspension from scratch as it is really confusing [until I find the time to dive into it as I have an idea as to how to create a basic double wishbone suspension for a start, solid axle will need more time] a beginner might be looking at a little more than 10-15hrs or more, depending on how quick one can catch onto jbeam.

Except JBeam is nothing to do with C or conventional programming at all, JBeam is a markup, its data, not code. Nor is sketchup suited to BeamNG and video game modelling.

Oh... well... I hope at least used data is not very different from using code.

And can anyone recommend me a 3D modeling program that is easy to use?

Blender, blender or blender are only real choices for BeamNG. Sketchup is just awkward. There is 3ds max too but thats not free unless you can get a student copy.

As I am learning amateur programing I can confidently say the jbeam script isn't even slightly like programming other than the fact that syntax errors apply meaning one small charactor being out of place or bad spelling/formatting will create an error causing your jbeam to be unusable until you fix the error

I can grasp some basic C, plenty of experience with the arduino api, C#, Java, Python, ecmascript, PHP (shudders) and assembly. JBeam however, nah.
