Don't you think that there should be a BeamNG app with all the forums and goodies. It could have push notifications and could also be a hub for BeamNG gameplay videos. The app icon could be just the beam logo. I think this should happen. I don't have the skills to do this but some people do and maybe they could make the app for the devs. Who agrees with me?
Would be nice, but I think there is already an app to read and write on the forums (tapatalk or something?). I see it in the messages sometimes.
Like tdev said, the new website layout works very well on mobile. Unlike the old website it is very easy to use, really clean looking, and actually has great functionality.
I think its a bad idea, only because this game already requires a beefed up computer to play on normal graphics. However though it would be sweet
Try reading the main post before typing. As for the app idea, just use Taptalk/web for the forums and if you want to watch BeamNG videos just go on Youtube.
I honestly am fine with the mobile website. As for the gameplay videos, I don't think that the company would endorse any specific videos (besides their own).
I think xenforo is fine on mobile. Thank god we ditched Tapatalk, that was cancer on mobile. Popups everywhere.
I'm glad we're moving to a site-based system for mobile. I personally think apps for websites are remnants of when mobile browsers were far from fully featured and should be left behind now that that's no longer the case. I always used the BeamNG website on mobile. It had some wrapping issues but otherwise worked OK, and Xenforo as well as this particular style brings excellent mobile support to the table. The only catch here is push notifications. That's the only reason I think an app might be nice in a modern mobile ecosystem.
