i see this truck for a while now. and im curious where i can get it? probably still in WIP but just wondering
That weren't the headlights but the area surrounding them. That is what you get trying to use the original texture map I still suck at making new textures. I redid the front fascia, improved the additional lights and the fender flares as well. I'm not sure what to do with the overlapping fenderflares with the 'new' old side signals. Also I altered the D55/D65 a bit; moved the headlights down, lowered the hood, lowered the top of the fenders and added folded edges to the sides. Now the lower part of the headlight gap is in line with the lower part of the grill and the upper part of the headlight gap is in line with the fenders (like the 1990s F700 and 1990s Topkick). Look at the screenshot with the two trucks; the left one is old, the right one is the new. I'm not sure what to do with the hood, I don't like the kink between the cab and hood. I can keep it like it is, smooth it like a 1990s Topkick or level it with an kink at the front like a 1990s Ford F700. Also the rear end of the fenders could be altered; it now has three flat areas like the F700 but it looks a bit weird to me. When I've sort some issues out I'll create a thread for it.
Impressive work as usual! I just thought of something, you did an amazing work making both the D series and the H series look like older models, but one thing sticks out quite a bit, the door handles...do you think it could be done? Something like this: Of course, that would mean new door models, but at least on the outside, you wouldn't able to tell if it's a new model or a classic one. The current handles look too newish in order to blend in...
