My pc runs beamng rather slow...

I myself am getting a 5960X with something like 16GB DDR4 not 32GB but I will upgrade in a few years to get the 32GB I need and I am getting an EVGA Nvidia GTX 980 Classified ACX 2.0 GPU so I should have plenty of horse power....

What I was doing before was spending no more than £300 on the CPU and about £350 on the GPU this time I am spending close on £700 (perks of my dads company means VAT off hehe) on the CPU and about half of that on the GPU....

 

I'm saying that no matter how good your processor is, you won't be getting a smooth 60FPS @ 4K resolution on a single GTX980. The GPU is the bottleneck in this case.

 

yeah I may consider getting upgrades in the future this is to be my Magnum Opus, I may consider getting a Titan card if I can get a job at the city council and pay and stuff like that I mean I dont pay council tax the perk of living at home, so yeah I got a lot of work to consider and this is a 4GB card....and yes I agree it wont be 4k60 it will be like 4k30 or less but I am running dual 1080p screens so must less pixels to push...I suppose...

 

This is probably completely irrelevant now, I used to run an A6-5200, it would run DRI at 20fps but smooth with up to 3 stripped Utes, so a high end apu could probably pull 30fps and 3 full cars
