Hey, in my Dash Cam videos i use a edited camera view and I was asked many times how I do that, so that the camera is placed behind the windscreen, now I decided to release a mod with the edited cam settings for you, so you haven't do it! Includes 15 dashcam views of 15 cars (only original beamng vehicles). Just drop the zip into your mods folder. Enjoy
If that is in slowmo you should of simply removed the audio and sped it up by the same amount the game-engine slowed it down, so if you slowed it by 8x speed it up by 8x in and editor than you'd be able to obtain 60FPS video as well. You can litterally have 8 FPS in slowmo 8x and speed it up 8 times and have 64FPS, seems it shouldn't work this way but it does. Tried it works in practice.
Try all the time... In practice it does work as intended. No need to get over technical. I made clips that aren't released where I recorded at super high Graphics and 4 cars lowest FPS I ever had in slowmo was 14 due to Graphics Overhead even though I have a GTX 770. And it really doesn't matter it still looks like super smooth 60FPS. The point of this is it's good for videos showing off the physics in crash montage videos. Also "Fps usually increases sometimes" umm, what does this mean?
Like i said when the physics Slows down the the Fps Can increase it happens with me so at steady 55fps on ECA ill put it in slow-mo it goes up to 65-70ish... its a Cpu related thing...
well I get under 20 on normal and that is with a laptop (a pretty high end laptop with a nice graphics card) as I think of it 20 isn't accualy that bad it sort of seems slow but it is playable. OT my computer seems to say the ZIP is invalid.
This is a great mod! One suggestion for you. Could you make the dashcam have a wide angle such as a GoPro or other action camera would have? That would be awesome.
Made all the Sunburst and 200BX explode upon hitting the ground after spawning. Lags the game out until I force quit it. edit: updating fixed it
