I think devs just make the textures brighter, and change the start time and just don't know why my graphic looks like this although I got a good PC with all-high graphic
How do you do it though, will you need to edit the internal files for it, i'm assuming it can't be changed through the car config menu?
You will have to go to content-vehicles-common and you will find the licensesplate_d.dds file there and will have to edit that. I don't want to talk to much here and clog this thread we can take it to PM.
Reminds me, I need to UV some of those little pieces in the wheel well to be skinnable. Doing that right now.
Sweet. Are UV mapped tires in the agenda? Right now, they're (sorta) mirrored. (Logos have to be symmetrical, can't have different text on the top vs. bottom part of the tire)
Yeah, I'll have to come up with a new tire mesh that's UVed to a texture twice as wide so it doesn't repeat. I'll definitely look into it, especially if I end up making more off-road tires.
MONZA I guess we will see the forums explode with tire mods at that point. (Also, is there a reason the 423 C.I. engine for the Barstow doesn't have a stage 1 supercharger?)
Nice to see my home state's Police skin. they did change slightly on the new Taurus. i still like the older style like yours
I hope the shade of blue i used for the car is accurate, it's a hard colour to do compared to the simple black & yellow they use at the moment. Since i'm not from the states i really only have reference pictures on the internet and they're not to great for determining the colour, but i really like American police cars especially the Caprices and the Crown Vics. Meanwhile, over here, they drive around in Volvos and Volkswagens, though we used to have Some euro fords and even porsches. This is what i used for the reference image
that was a good reference to go by its basically the same as now on current Crown Victoria's. . If you do a Van skin for NYSP they usually always were Black within last 15yrs. I Drive a '99 Ford E-150 so its identical to this
NYSP used Dark navy Blue and also a much lighter blue so it doesn't matter.. the yellow is actually a Reflector Strip if you look closely in pics..... Send me a PM id like to try that skin out
Correct, i was aware of them being retro reflective, though other reference pictures don't show this with a grid-like pattern on the caprice. Like this one As for trying out the skin, patience, i just finished the V0.2 of the NYPD skin, and the NYSP skin will be added to the package, just going ingame right now for the fine tuning, so it should be added in a few hours. EDIT: Released
Paint.NET P.S. Sorry gabe, i never really was a fan of the giant black holes that reside on the front of the Moonhawk D:
