Outdated Demolition Derby 1.5.11

I've been working on a Figure 8 race for a while now, but progress is slow. Join my group if you really can't wait to play a half-finished version.

 

I won in 4 minutes and 55 seconds

 

I've made a custom scenario off this, Scepheo said i could post it here. Have a go and say what you think. it's a frankenstein between his Random Tour and this Demo Derby. Basically. It randomizes what car you and your oponents will have based on the vehicles you have. Modded, non modded, any configuration might be possible. I've recently got a Scania (8x8 Truck) to the face in the roamer. Did not feel all that good.

Thanks to Scepheo for these awesome mods. I just felt this added a bit more challange.

Ps. Scepheo, add it as a fourth if you want, or let me know if you want it removed from here. Your choice since it's your mod.


Edit: Removed zip as it will probably be added to main mod with a few fixes from Scepheo.

 

I really like the idea of this. I've really been dying for a chance to use some of the other cars I have since the AI mod I had quit working with the new updates. I'm guessing there's no way to make the cars choosable?

 

I have too little knowledge, but i think that currently you can't display a car choosing menu in scenarios. Scepheo uses a smart randomizer to achieve it in the background right on load. I've spent too long yesterday just running these derbys because of the changes in vehicles.

We should post what vehicles we ended up with in the Random scenario

I was driving a D-Series Delivery Truck Offroad
I was against a Grand Marshall Limo Offroad, a D-Series Flatbed Offroad, and a D-Series Custom

I won by flipping over and steamrolling the limo by landing directly on it


The next round, I got a Roamer Sport
I was against a Blue Bird School Bus, a T-Series, and an H-Series Road Train.

I got sandwiched immediately.

no wheels I am runing 990fx extreme3 11x6 1045t 270 ghz GeForce gtx 960 32 ghz ram ripjaws I don't have problems with project race cars or weckfest and it looks exlent with new update get it right a lot bugs in this stuf

It appears I broke it, it now for me refuses to spawn in any vehicles I love the random game! its incredible but now since I appear to have broke it I cant play it

 

I didn't understand a word of that.

I'm not entirely sure how you could break it. The files in the zip should never be changed, so no matter how serious a bug, restarting the game should always fix it.

 

No matter it was that I was messing around with files removed an update and it broke the game then I reapplied the update and now it works again

 

Well, this is annoying...

In my book, you should lose if you're tangled in another vehicle's wheels.

 

I have 2 things to ask you

1. I know thats so bloody irritating when it locks up one of your tyres and it prevents you from doing something
2. Where the hell did you get that mod!

 

It's the MAZ, I didn't know it was compatible with the latest version though.

I don't know why the wheels are so grabby though. It would be nice to have a way to remove detached parts from the ground and the wheels imo.

 

Okay I know its a MAZ but did you get this off Spin Tyres...

 

It was ported for BeamNG.drive, but is seems like the author has taked it down since I can't find it on the forums.
