Personally, I'd like to see Norwegian, and may be even Icelandic plates, if that is possible...

I think cars from the front straight of the Hirochi Raceway will be easy to collide with cars from the pit exit. Any idea to look into this? @LJFHutch

I stand corrected, it seems that they indeed changed the system in 2009 (and since they are replaced on all vehicles none of the old combos exist, except for barn finds).

As for the Dutch license plate, it looks good.

    Here's "some" guidelines:

WARNING: WALL OF TEXT AHEAD, READ AT OWN RISK :p

C and Q are never used, since they look too much like an O

A, E, I, O, U are not used on vehicles after 1977 (except for trailers)

Pre-1978 vehicles are allowed to drive with Classic-oldtimer plates
Example (White letters with a slight dark blue hint) note, no EU-NL block.

Import vehicles (Basically vehicles on which european format plates don't fit)
Drive around with 310x110mm Plates (they can also be oldtimer-plates if the vehicle is Pre-1978)
US plates are slightly bigger 355x152mm

And they look like this (or white letters with dark blue) note, no EU-NL block.

    Starting letters
D, F are only used for Mopeds and Scooters
W for Small trailers, and caravans.
O for large trailers (ones that fit cars on them, or cargo trailers for semis)
V for light commercial vehicles (under 3500 kg)
B for large commercial vehicles (above 3500 kg)
AA is only used on vehicles for the royal family
V for Light commercial vehicles (below 3500kg)
    M is used for motorbikes.
    CD for diplomatic vehicles

    Used letters passenger vehicles are: D and F are not used in (7, 9 and 10), G, H, J, K (sidecodes 4, 7 and 8 only), L, N, P, R, S, T, X, Y (sidecode 4 only), Z
    Side code 8 only uses K, S, T, X end Z as starting letters.

SA, SS, SD are not used this also counts for 3 letter combos with these 2 behind each other.
GVD, KKK, LPF, NSB, PKK, PSV, PVV and TBS are not used

Last but not least, the "Sidecodes" (example given is the first license plate in the series, so no letter combinations before those, ex. AD means no AB AC, etc.)

    Passenger vehicles:
    Side code 1 1951 - 1965 (ND-00-01) Blue - White
    Side code 2 1965 - 1973 (00-01-AD) Blue - White
    Side code 3 1973 - 1978 (00-AD-01) Blue - White
    Side code 4 1978 - 1991 (DB-01-BB) Yellow - Black
    Side code 5 1991 - 1999 (DB-BB-01) Yellow - Black
    Side code 6 1999 - 2008 (01-DB-BB) Yellow - Black
    Side code 7 2008 - 2013 (01-GBB-1) Yellow - Black
    Side code 8 2013 - 2015 (1-KBB-00) Yellow - Black
    Side code 9 2015 - now (GB-001-B) Yellow - Black

    Commercial Vehicles:
    (Below 2.2m width) Side code 1 1951-1974 (NA-00-01) Blue - White
    (Above 2.2m width) Side code 1 1951-1973 (NB-00-01) Blue - White
(After side code 1 commercial vehicles were generalized in 1 category)
    Side code 2 1974 - 1977 (00-01-AB) Blue - White
    Side code 3 1977-1980 (00-AB-01) 1977 Blue - White, 1978+ Yellow - Black
    Side code 4 (1) 1980 - 1988 (BB-01-BB) Yellow - Black
    Side code 4 (2) 1988 - 1994 (VB-01-BB) Yellow - Black
(After side code 4 commericial vehicles were put in 2 weight categories, above 3500KG starts with a B, below 3500KG starts with a V)
    Side code 5 1994 - 2012 heavy 1994 - 1998 light (B(or V)B-BB-01) Yellow - Black
    Side code 6 1998 - 2002 (01-VB-BB) 2002 - 2006 (01-BB-BB) (skipped on heavy commercial vehicles, they hadn't filled up the previous side code)
    Side code 7 2012 - present heavy (00-BBB-1) 2006 - 2009 (01-VBB-1) Yellow - Black
(heavy is yet to use these side codes, so light only)
    Side code 8 2009 - 2012 (1-VBB-00) Yellow - Black
    Side code 9 2012 - present (VB-001-B) Yellow - Black

    Trailers:
    Side code 1 1951 - 1988 (OD-00-01) Blue - White 1978+ Yellow - Black
    Side code 4 1988 - present (OB-01-BB) Yellow - Black

Since 2000 Taxi License plates Bright Blue - Black (note small 2 the number that counts how many times the plate has been replaced) (These vehicles still use the normal passenger car side codes)

License plates for small trailers, bicycle carriers and caravans are White - Black

Long story short: The covet plate seems correct, maybe a Belgian plate next, don't know to much about these though.

Pretty sure that's specified in my profile ;)

We use a highly unnecessarily complex system for our plates though -.-
I wanted to do some custom plates myself, but for now i'll wait till they add some example plates.
