Just ordered my two all-time favorite movies (Hot Fuzz and The Blues Brothers) on bluray. It's weird how even though I doubt I'll often watch the physical copies I feel compelled to own them.... I suppose it's just a testament to how much I like those films.
Top tip, turn on autosave (or don't turn it off in the first place as its default to on...) and it will save you a million times as it has me. I save once every hour or so as auto save always has a copy from the last minute or two.
All multiplayer, no AI. Tracks are laser scanned down to a millimeter, each bump on the track can be felt. Community is one of the best in gaming right now. You'll have to really work for wins, but it's so worth it when you get a good finish. Me and @Yotaak are both on iRacing, so if you ever need help if you decide to buy it, ask us.
Exactly how useful are surround triple-monitor setups for this sort of stuff? I see a lot of people using them.
Triple monitors allow you to use a higher FOV and see more around you. A single screen can work, but usually you're better with triples or a Rift.
I'm so used to media keys on my keyboard that when I'm on my laptop sometimes I hit the mute button instead of changing/pausing my music. THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE. And for some reason I'm feeling nostalgic for my old Presario R3000. That thing was a beast, especially for its time. Came out in like 2003, had a hyperthreaded 3.2GHz desktop P4, (The heatsink was huge.) 1200p screen, etc. I loved it.
Macbooks are for writing papers and checking facebook, both things that are outside the OS. I don't care for OSX for anything that involves Finder or the actual operating system but it's not so bad as to interfere with whatever you're doing on it. What OSX is it? El Capitan? Yosemite? I'm still running 10.6.8 on my C2D
If I was to suggest anything, if would be to purchase BetterSnapTool from the Mac app store, as it actually makes it possible to manage windows.
I'm running El Capitan on my C2D. Stones erode faster than it boots. I'm so tempted to just stick 10.6.8 back on it, it was lightning fast with the good ol' Snow Leopard.
