So evidently this "thing" that I've been getting vague hints about means it's another car, I don't know how and why I'm getting, or even getting, let alone take care of it for a period of time, since I have looked after some friends and relative's cars in the past, but after pressing enough for details to atleast know what I'd be expecting.

    The highlights:
    It's German
    5.5L V8
    429hp
    4WD
    7 speed automatic
    It's black

    The iffy's:
Expected less than desirable fuel economy
    It's big
    It has 7 seats
Rims are a bit large and tires aren't that thick
    It's this

A 2012 Mercedes Benz GL550. eh, I was honestly expecting an S class, but the 4WD and 7 seats turned that into a different direction. So yeah, I still don't even know if I'm just going to be looking after this, is it going to be mine, or what, but the keys to that will be in my hands pretty soon....

I'm getting this vibe that you're horrifyingly ill-prepared to be piloting/responsible for it.

I let an Audi pull out of a side street in front of me today, same as yours only dark green. Guy waved thanks & I was blown away that Audi drivers are courteous ;)

This is why I don't know what to do with it, I'm good in handling sedans, coupes and shit, but the biggest car I've ever driven is a compact/mid-size Toyota 4Runner. If anything I'd push myself in not succumbing to turning into the typical Mercedes driver and be extra courteous and careful to other drivers.

Hell, I'll just stick to driving my own car and only drive the Mercedes when necessary (probably never) but then again, Christmas is next Friday, and family is coming down, so most likely I'll be playing the DD and/or shuttling the little shi- cousins, nieces, and nephews.

    Audi drivers are #1.

On a serious note, it seems that fewer people have been giving that 'thank you' wave as of late. It's just a Good Thing to Do to acknowledge that the other driver was being kind, which is pretty rare on the road...

Speaking of Audi, there's a 1997-1999 A4 around the corner from my place in Andora Red sporting a set of B6 S4 rims. Might take a pic of it with my car and its superior B5 S4 rims after work tomorrow, kek.

Apparently i read somewhere that people carriers (minivans as you Americans call them) are actually popular cars for executives.

    EDIT:

forgot to mention that they are popular executive cars in china oops sorry for the confusion. but since china is such a hugely populated country were lots of the worlds population lives I could say it means that they are popular excutive cars worldwide is some weird way.

well I guess there is a good amount of space for business men to do business on the road when they don't have access to a limo especially in the crowded streets of Beijing in my eyes anyway.

Seems the United States calls this Kia minivan the Sedona while at it.

My relatives rented one of those vans for a wedding once, even from the front seat, it felt cramped.

They probably like minivans because of the room and relative "luxury" in the back. Most have captains chairs in the middle row.

Do I sound like I'm wanting this SUV? No, I never asked anything and I wasn't even expecting another car since my current car is fine enough as it is. My parents aren't rich nor do I ask them for money, I'm not one of those materialistic douchebags who flaunt their "luxuries" around when they don't even deserve to have it. My first car was a 1998 Toyota 4Runner which I've bought with my own money that I saved up since high school, I took full responsibility of taking care of it and didn't drive like an ass for all the time I've had it. The Lexus just happened by luck since my uncle has a difficult wife who's logic doesn't make sense half of the time, and offered the car to me, and how could I turn that down? I've done the same thing like I did with the 4Runner with the Lexus, and it hasn't made me look like I'm rich or well off, I'm not actively showing my car off here on the forums am I? Do I act like the typical luxury car owner?

    No.

If anything, the SUV won't be mine to keep, my parents did not buy it, I know for a fact as of today, it's owned by another relative of mine, and most likely they're sending it down to where I live for whatever reason when it's alot cheaper to just rent a minivan or SUV instead. If it even did end up under my name, the first thing I would do with it, if immediately is put it up for sale. I don't have any use for an SUV this size, let alone have all those seats in one. And if I wanted more horsepower I would've gone for a sports car. I'm just better off with the car I have, or anything similar.

It's either a 316i or 318i sedan (the hubcaps give it away), so I wouldn't feel too bad about it. I would be shedding tears if that was a E36 M3.

Oh good heavens, we've got the Saab, 2 Jaguars, and a Lincoln Town Car lined up for tomorrow.

But why Jaguars? I'd rather not break down after 15 minutes of driving it.
