I don't see any holes. I dig it. Also already has a hitch installed. You dragged it on anything? I'm assuming you've dealt with the locating tab for the radiator support cover getting caught on the header panel and shut in the hood? It looks like it was even sprayed right over. That's macco for ya.
Yep it sure was lol, actually just realized it today when i was checking all the fluids and cleaning it up a bit. Paint looks better in pictures. Ill take a better pic tomorrow to show true crappiness.
Well, here's how today went. The Lincoln was a pile and the Saab was in shambles. The X-Type was too damn expensive and my dad's settled on a 2003 Jaguar XJ8 that's stuck in valet mode because the dealership only has a valet key for it. He says that if the inspection he's going to have done doesn't come back with anything major (minor is fine), he's going to buy it. God help us all.
Exactly it basically, valet mode, or the valet key can only open the driver's door plus of course start the engine, but it can't open the glovebox or the trunk/boot. Some cars, like a Bentley, it restricts engine power too so the valet boys won't have any fun joyriding in it.
My Grand Marquis was ordered with an optional valet key. I don't have it however. The dealer didn't have it when they sold me the car.
The other two already explained it. But the really big problem here is, like I said, that's the only key they say they have. But, in their pictures online, they had the trunk (boot) open, which means that they have the switchblade key somewhere and hand out the valet key for test drives (which, actually, makes sense when you think about it). BUT, if they LOST the switchblade key, that's going to be extremely expensive. More expensive than brakes or suspension work on this car.
Useless right up until some kid in a valet wrecks your $75,000 Jaguar XJ8 because you didn't give them the valet key that would have at least tried to prevent the accident. It's only useless when it's the only key you have.
I saw this on the side of the road today. '74 Fleetwood. Power windows and driver's seat. Power footrests for the rear passengers. There wasn't any price listed on the window. Just said to call for info. Probably means its overpriced.
Ah, mid-70's Sedan Deville, one of, if not the only car ever to deserve the title of Boat, or maybe, Yacht is more appropriate. The 500 Cadillac, one of my all time favorite engines. even in 73 and 74, could hustle that massive pile of lead down the road at 75 with no issue and get 20 mpg doing it. I still think Caddy had some kind of technology that they didnt share with the rest of GM, No one else could have a 500 cubic inch engine make over 400 ft lbs of torque, and still have the ability to get over 20 MPG. Then, take one and throw a little money at it, You have an easy 500 horse and well over 500 ft lbs of torque.
I think that's because that super high torque rating allowed the car to ride the wave of torque down the road at idle. My car has 295lbs-ft/400nm of torque and it does a similar thing on the highway. It sits at like 1500rpm at 70mph. I can get over 30mpg from a 4000lbs V8 sedan.
My friend Nikoli would be drooling over that Caddy. His dream car is a 71 Eldorado. He currently drives an 82 chrysler 5th avenue with the 318.
