Has we all know cars dont tend to blow up, but they sure are flammable. My suggestion is to add fire into BeamBG. In the UI that breaks all hinges and deflates the tires, it could be added an option to set the car on fire. The fire would spread to cars nearby.
Maybe set it by each beam or material an amount of combustion for it, would be awesome if by setting in fire you change the hardness of the material.... creating sort of melting *-*. Using a system like this we can make the tire reaction for the burnout smoke more real then any other game in history... making the smoke came out of the engine if its too hot or the clutch/transmission ( see fail burnout of a viper by example ).
I really like the idea of cars erupting into flames, but bear with me here: cars tend to look like this after a fire:
I Think That It Would Be Really Cool If Cars Could Lite On Fire, And You Could Make A UI Button That Stops The Fire On The Car (And It Could Make A Fun And Easy YouTube Video)
I found out if the engine gets enough damage, 5.0, the engine may catch fire Look at the blue car, it is on fire
He made a good point. I actually came here to see if anyone else had seen it. I don't think I saw it in the changelog (I sorta skimmed it) so it could be a surprise to some. No need to be an arse.
That was nowhere near "being an arse". It wasn't mentioned in the changelog because it was meant to be something of a surprise feature, but the whole forum has been swamped with posts about it since the instant the update went live. You probably only came here because the guy bumped this old thread to mention the fire.
