    Turbo whistle sound was working when steam first downloaded the 0.5 update, I deleted BeamNG and re downloaded it as I had a few problems. (which are now solved)

    now on all vehicles that have turbo simulation only the BOV sound plays, no turbo whistle.

    I deleted cache etc etc.

    Thanks.

    It's pretty quiet on some vehicles. Are you sure that it's truly gone? I never noticed it at first with the '88 pessima, but it was immediately obvious on the SBR4 and the T75.

    How thoroughly did you delete it beford the reinstall? Did you tell steam to delete all local files, and then delete the remnants yourself in both the documents and steamapps common folders? Im not trying to be condiscending or anything, I'm just trying to get on the same page as you. Ive had to fight the game in the past to make everything work right.:)

    Well shit, I've got nothing, it sounds like you have something pretty strange going on. Hopefully a dev stumbles across this and figures it out. Maybe you aught to explain your situation in the bug report thread, assuming that you haven't already. Good luck man.

    Here was before I deleted BNG and I was testing the turbo simulation out and it was working. (this was yesterday)

    Now after it was reinstalled no turbo whistle at all.

    Wait... there's a turbo whistle/whine sound? If there is, I can't hear it. I hear the BOV, but there's no whine.

    So I have the problem too... although I'm not going to attempt a reinstall as it doesn't matter that much to me

    I changed some stuff around in the engine jbeam, it looks like the "whistle" is dependent on this.

    "maxExhaustPower":

    originally it was "maxExhaustPower": 2000,

    slowly increased to 10000 and I could hear the whistle only at idle.

    increased it to 60000 and it was back at all RPM but it was very quiet.

    I set it to 80000 and its at the prefect level.

    What else does "maxExhaustPower" do?

    Boost (psi) and back pressure is still the same even with it increased.
