More along the lines of... I've been on some dying forums before, and it reminds me of that. Makes me feel kind of melancholy. On one, there were, for a period of some years, less than 10 active members - and I came along fairly late in that process. For a good while, most of the action centered around one obvious troll who everyone kept trying to debate for lack of anything better to do. Some time after I dropped off the radar, the site founder, otherwise unheard of for many years, tired of paying the hosting costs and shut it down. At least three more were subforums of GameFAQs, which is itself now a shadow of what it was before. Still another got spammed to death. With Rigs of Rods, the problem seems to be the community turning into a toilet and then flushing itself. A lot of the trouble appears to have been extremely recent, too... hard to believe that one dev - not even admin - being a paranoid jerk could almost single-handedly kill a community like that.
The only other forum I'm part of has less than ten active members, and I'm one of them. However, it's the best forum I've even been on because you know everyone, everyone contributes and everyone cares about the forum. It's by definition, a dying/dead forum, but somehow it feels more "alive" than forums with 100x more people on it. it's a very strange and melancholy affair, a community being sort of like a place or a building, slowly being abandoned, vandalized, or demolished. Very odd indeed. It's a far cry from this community... which I would say is quite helpful and constructive but quite hostile and cold too.
I tried to make a vehicul but blender seems to not be my thing i dont understand the control and everything and there is way too much option... gona try another day because im giving up on my first vehicul creation way to hard...
Rocket league is great. I only just got it though, and I'm nearly at pro level already. I fly into the air like an eagle and try to slam my wheels into the ball. always resulting in a whole lot of randomness. We should all have rocket league. NOW!! And btw, post what you hope to be gettin for xmas. See how badass some gifts are.
