Make: Civetta Model: Bolide Year: 1985 Gearbox: 5-speed Manual Range Variant: LRM (Low-Range-Model) Engine: 3.2L V8 with mechanically limited throttle Description: You have laid eyes on something of a rarity. A Civetta Bolide LRM. Now what is the LRM? It is shortened for "Low-Range-Model" and it is basically the base model version. it has hubcaps and steel rims along with a non-tuned and mechanically limited throttled 3.2L V8. My father recently passed away and I was cleaning out his barn and I came across this stashed in a corner. I never knew that he had one. Maybe it was the low stance of all Bolides that averted my eyes and maybe all the crap that was piled on top of it. I found the keys in the ignition and I cleaned out the air intake along with a fresh quart of gasoline and fired it up. I did my research on why ANY Bolide would have hubcaps and an engine that was gutted out of any hope of performance. I found on the Bolide Owners website that a base model variant with hubcaps was supposedly the budget version and when new, it usually sold for 7,899 dollars, which is a VERY low price for a Bolide in 1985. And only 1,600 Hubcap variant Budget models were made. This particular Bolide is complete with all the stock hubcaps that were borrowed from Ibishu when made in the factory. There is some damage on the front right of the bumper. I found the title in the glove box which is clean and the License Bureau has identified the Bolide and it is still licensed even after being stuffed in a barn for 10 years. it is mechanically in good shape, but there are minor wear and tear which is normal in a barn find. Price: 11,999 Dollars.
I think if you can bring down the Barstow to $875.57 I wouldn't have a problem affording. Though it would be nice if you could rip the left rear lamp out.
