1989 Ibishu Pessima

Nice ideas they would be interesting to be in game, as for seatbelts the game doesnt need them other than for the stig mod, but for the wheels those would be great more customization, and you sure dont see many of those edsels around. i actually got to where i like the edsels styling.

couple of ideas, an AWD-AWS version would be nice. Also, I don't know if the engine can implement this, but most AWS cars have speed sensitive rear steer, at low speeds it counter steers like the default, but it gradually transitions to none and then to steering with the front wheels at high speeds. This provides tighter low speed steering and better high speed stability.

 

awd aws isn't done as the extra steering gear fits in the same space as the rear propshaft and differential

 

Well, there are a few AWD-AWS cars, such as the 1987 Galant VR4 (though it only operated above 31mph and turned with the front wheels). And the 1988 mazda 626 AWS was speed dependent as i described. I understand the design choice, just throwing my $0.02 in.

 

yes but they wont have the issue the pessima has. I did mod the pessima to allow installation of AWD and AWS at the same time, the extra steering gear models clip with the differential and the prop shaft, with the layout used on the pessima it is not possible from a physical perspective to install both systems at once. The galant likely had a different setup that did allow fitment with the rear diff. The 626 I think was also FWD only on AWS models.

 

my grandad used to own a 87 wagon (i say used to as he isnt alive anymore) it was converted to LPG its now sitting in a shed gathering dust.

 

Is this GTz supposed to be a factory version?


Those "Folk ET73" rims looks kinda aftermarket (Volk TE37, late 90s wheels and the car is early 90s). Or will this have more factory style wheels in future?

 

Just wondering, is it just me or does this car seem a bit more prone to physics crashes than others? It seems that in a lot of hard impacts the tires will stretch out and reset the physics more than other cars.

 

A taxi vision would be great.

I think that it was just mechanically controlled back then, and nowadays it's electroniccally controlled.

 

But this car actually has the lane-changing thing like the Acura does at certain degrees? Is there a way to see that it's working visually? Maybe I could just plonk a camera behind the rear fender and see what it's doing or something...
