The Mod Ploblem Coming and Going.

I have seen some mods come and go for some reason some people might have the same ploblem, what seems to be the ploblem here? i now have no more mods due to the new update.

 

Where are you putting the mods exactly?
They should ONLY go in Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods
If they're being put in the Steam folder for BeamNG, then they're likely to disappear.

 

I put them right in the mods area like suppose to, i clicked BeamNG Then Mods, Then Whatever mod type it is in (Vehicle or map) Then i put it in. Basically i put it in like i would do in Rigs Of Rods.

 

Put them straight in "Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods", not "Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods/vehicles" or "Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods/levels".

EDIT: Though mods do appear to be working from within those folders for me...
Maybe your mods are incompatible?

 

They are not suppose to be in the inner mod folders?

 

But that is what confused me, it says mods, But there are 2 other mod type folders in that folder.

 

Like vehicles and maps.

 

mods is the name of the folder. so documents/beamng.drive/mods. thats where you mods go. dont put them in documents/beamng.drive/mods/vehicles, or documents/beamng.drive/mods/levels. just put them in documents/beamng.drive/mods

 

So just out of the folders i just put them in (Witch is vehicles and maps).

 

Correct. you need your mods in documents/beamng.drive/mods ONLY.

Wait, What happens if you are using steam?

 

same place. documents/beamng.drive/mods.

 

What happens if you did that, then got onto the game, then those mods did not work?

 

is that what happens? if so the mods may be outdated. which ones are you using that dont work?

 

All don't work, i used the latest ones when they where out during two updates ago, then the update before 5.1 came out, then they stopped working.

 

And to keep note, i did check frequently (like every day of the week) for updated mods, but there was none.

 

Also take note that the computer i use is a Windows 10. So if there is a special way to install mods on a Windows 10, tell me now.
