There is no need to hate overclocking.
You're right, there not any need for overclocking in 99% of programs.

And just to be clear, my comment wasent to annoy you for not overclocking, it was just an example for why the thing is so heavy to run. :D

Well, how hot is it even running? I think you told me once, but I forgot. I just can't think of a certain TDP for a CPU that powerful.
It's hilarious that it needs about the same power as a crappy AMD FX anyway.

Dont worry man I know what you mean its just that I dont feel I need to OC my cpu because its already got enough threads for me so the load is more spread out so my processor wont have to be overclocked to get 'hidden' performance, besides it voids the warranty and I'd rather not do that

Considering most applications cant spread the load unless they are already threaded (chrome for example each tab is its own thread) then no you wont always be spreading the load. It can still be beneficial to overclock and improve the single threaded performance, that is why the T75 trailer mods and the belaz lag for you after all.

I understand but I am fine with the Turbo to 3500Mhz thats okay for me I dont want to risk the warranty on a £900 Processor :)

In terms of 8 core CPUs, that's like being inside the fridge.

    I meant that.
No idea why the 5690X has such a low TDP.

    Oh.
I was about to say that the amount a 5960X draws is obscene, but I stopped myself because...well, you know why.

Maybe the H110i just is the real deal.
I feel like I used that term two minutes ago.

5960X and obscene are two words that are practically married. You'll probably have used them both in the same sentence more than once.

Probably. Still, only 140W. An FX-9590 draws frickin' 220W.

Its obscene because it has a 140W TDP its the hottest processor probably ever been built for the current standards my graphics card draws in 250W so its obscene because of the TDP figure it has

Nah. As I said, AMD's top model draws a crap load more power. The 980Ti is really, REALLY hot though as long as you don't have ano aftermarket cooler on it.

Really? I have the same processor @4.8GHz and a better graphics card but I only get 22 fps with the belaz.

I would love to see what PC Gamer's "Large Pixel Collider" could do that thing must have a 5960X by now and it has I am not joking about this 4 GTX Titan cards....yes you heard me 4 GTX Titan cards, I would honestly love to see what that would do to the Belaz, honestly something like that was built to destroy games at the most disgusting resolutions you could EVER imagine...well past 4K here...

4 Titan X's would not do a thing, As you probably know, BeamNG relies on single tread performance, and does not support sli so The Large Pixel Collider would get the same fps as you.
And @SixSixSevenSeven is right, a lot of programs still doesn't support spreading the cpu load over multiple cores and/or treads, but we are getting there.

@DatDude I'm sorry but i don't believe you. Would it be possible to shoot a video, proving it ?

@Arne Hurnik My 980Ti is OC'ed by 200Mhz with reference cooler, max temp i have hit is 75c celsius but the only way to keep it there is to have the fan on full blast, it sounds like a turbine but the performance is awesome.
But yeah it is a pretty hot card when using a reference cooler.
