SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

I tried downloading the full game numerous times but it just doesn't work. I've tried everything and it says "File is corrupt" Can someone please get the .zip and then compress it into another .zip file? Thanks.

 

Did you try downloading it from the link again? Maybe use a different program to extract it? (I use 7zip)

 

Yes, I only have winzip and that's all I can use to download it.

 

Choose the .exe for 32 bit windows or the .msi for 64 bit windows depending on what you have.

Then try extracting the file with it.

 

winzip is just better dont get 7zip its a lot worse

 

or you can try WinRAR its pretty much all ive used for years. extracts almost anything

 

I already tried winrar if you read at the top of the thread. But I fixed it. I wouldn't say fix it because all I did was download it like 20 times and then let me install it

 

Bad internet connection maybe.

Also 7Zip is one of the best for extracting corrupt files, and as well, has best compression I've heard. I dunno what you guys are saying XD

 

Dummiesman ist right. 7zip is an free for everybody and open source project, providing a faster and better compression algorithm using the 7zip file format, while still being able to compress and extract other common zip formats.

About the initial thread problem: Make sure your internet connection does not get interrupted during the process. You might not notice small disconnects while surfing on the web, but with larger downloads it might show. Especially if you download speed is low. Test if you experience similar problems with other downloads, maybe contact you internet provider if this continues.

I think an official torrent would solve half of this, simply because a lot of people can't keep up a consistent internet connection and can't download the file quickly. For now, just keep re-downloading till it works, sounds like your downloads are being interrupted and the .zip file gets corrupted as a result. there's not really any other option.

Good idea! It's up to the dev's to decide if this won't lead to more piracy. However the download link is publicly accessible once you know the path too, and there still is the client's licence management. I'd be in for it immediately.

 

they probably should put up a torrent. Theres already 4 on the pirate bay and one seems legitimate (extracted the same as official) i didn't try the others
