Is it? I have the axis assigned so I can use it to steer but I'm getting a hardware not compatible in the FFB settings (in game). Would love to try the BeamNG FFB out as this wheel kicks ass! Thanks.

Woa, i just looked up that wheel as i have never heard of it before and wow that is amazing. sadly beam has pretty crap ffb, and although it would probably be very good with that wheel even with the not-the-best ffb ever.
I think your problem is that it is sort of a uncommon/unusual wheel, so beam doesnt know what the hell to do with it. Good luck getting it to work though if someone who actually knows what they are doing responds.

Can you please run the support.exe tool located in BeamNG installation directory, and post back here the resulting support ID number? Thanks!

Thanks! The next version will include a potential fix for your issue (but I cannot guarantee it will be fixed, since I don't have access to test the actual hardware).

I see, thanks for replying. Could you please send a new support report so I can take a look at the logs generated by the new version?

Ok thanks it's ticket number 200. I think I did it twice by accident, sorry about that. Thanks for your help.

Thanks again for your patience, it's hard to fix stuff that I cannot test myself. Based on your new support ticket, I have added a third FFB detection method for the next update. Fingers crossed!

It's fine, patience is a virtue. I have tryed and the FFB page says that it has recognized the wheel but I am still not feeling any effects. Thanks again for your assistance.

The last hotfix version 0.5.2.1 (released some hours ago) includes a possible fix for your wheel, and much more information for me in case the fix didn't work.

If you have already tried this version 0.5.2.1 (you may need to restart Steam to force the download), and it's still not working, please send another support.exe request :)

Yes I'm afraid that's what I had done just before I wrote my last message, I'll send another support.exe again now. Cheers.

Alright, everything seems correct, and the only missing step is simply enabling force feedback on your side:

Go to Controls menu, Force Feedback tab, "XAxis" binding
    - Check the "Enable force feedback" option
    - Set the coefficient and limit to a value greater than zero
Then click Apply and test again :)

Okay done all that and still nothing. I understand that it must be difficult without having an Accu-Force there to test with. Thanks.

If you send another support request after running BeamNG with the wheel connected I can check if anything obvious went wrong during the configuration phase, and maybe try to create an inputmap for you.

Thanks, that shed some more light on the issue, I've made yet another adjustment for the next version (whenever that is). Apparently the steering wheel drivers are not providing information about force feedback step resolution, and we relied on that for some (not critical) optimizations to happen. We will now use some reasonable defaults when that happens.

Wow what a fantastic update! I'm really happy to see all the new stuff with engine thermos, I hope to see similar things done to the tyre model.

Unfortunately though, I am still receiving no force feedback through the Accu-Force. Hope there's something you can do for me as I'm itching to play properly again.

    Thanks.

Oh :-( I'll need yet another support ID to see what the problem is now. Sometimes a bug is hidden behind another bug hidden behind another bug, and it takes a while to uncover them all.

Again, thanks for your continuing support on this. I have sent ticket number 375 to you. Cheers.

Also just so you know (in case you don't), the wheel does operate as a generic ffb controller but it does have a program called Sim Commander which is what you use to modify the settings, it isn't listed in the normal control panel game controllers. The wheel is managed by a separate unit so i don't know if that makes a difference.

That's the box that manages everything and also a capture of the settings page. Hope that can help.

Just so you know, no change after the 0.5.3.2 update.

Any chance that you know when the next update will be? Also have you managed to get any further with the issue? Cheers.
