I was trying to be modest

    Monitor 1: Acer S240HL 24in (HDMI)
    Monitor 2: Acer P225HQ 22.5in (DVI-I)

Being modest is really hard with a Magnum Opus in your sig. I think you have to change the first sentence.
Nah, let it that way. However, I always thought that two differently sized monitors would be awful as a dual system. Okay.

It gets an error whenever I try it on anything newer than a Pentium 4.

    Okay, nice.
Then put it into your car and bring it to the disposal anyway.
I think my hope was hopeless.

Right now I use a 1440x900 LG Flatron 19" (not sure of exact model) but sooner or later plan to upgrade to two Acer H236HL bid 1080p 23" monitors.

Heh. I had two crappy 1600x900 monitors before but in like 2014 or something I bought one of those Acers refurbished. 1080p IPS and it overclocks to 75Hz or something. Got a second one (new) and that one had a few connection issues on the inside making the screen go all weird until I tapped it enough to make it go away for good..

Anyway, I love them. Good monitors.

Yeah, I also have a 1600x900 monitor but I am not currently using it, I am building a new computer in the next week or two, and I'll be using that. My 1440x900 monitor is currently for my other computer.
