When I try to make a map, you have to have a mission file. How do I make one? Also how do I get all of the vegetation and correct files needed into the file of the map? (not the .mis)

There's nothing to do. In the editor, just press save as and name the .mis. It is created automatically by doing this. Make sure you put it in your map's folder!

Vegetation is automatically added to the map when you edit and save it in. Use the forest editor (looks like a leaf). You have to "paint" in the forestry items yourself; can't be done automatically.

BTW, when you Save As from the editor, it doesn't actually save it at the location. It saves the file in the BeamNG.drive folder in Documents, then the path is in there.

Copy the art folder from various maps located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\levels\ to your map.

You can copy the one from smallgrid, but I'll create a blank one for you right now.

EDIT: I've made the blank map: http://beamng.com/threads/a-blank-map-for-creating-your-own-maps.21493/
