I ever since I saw it at the auto show in 2012ish, I thought ss was a stupid name for a car. ss is supposed to be a sport package not the name for a car. in my opinion, this is a chevy ss
If I ever had an HSV GTS Maloo, I would put base model Holden Evoke ute panels on it & make it the ultimate sleeper.
I would make a sleeper out of a 1959 edsel villager however, I would get one in bad condition and modify that so I wouldn't feel like im ruining a pristine car.
I enjoy driving somewhat of a sleeper and I'll never own a fast looking car because of it. When civic si's and brz's think they found an easy kill I'm always happy to oblige them with an ass whooping. That holden is much faster you'd be going after e92 m3s for fun.
So I think I'll be selling my Marq to my dad this summer if all goes according to the current plan. Take out a small loan and a buy a sub-100k 2006-2008 Subaru Legacy GT Wagon. I want the wagon for the room and my guitar/bass cases. Also, Acura RSX Type-S are a thing as well.
wagons are the best. i drive one everyday(2009 subaru outback legacy). has enough power to have a little fun, and you can haul a whole bunch of stuff in it.
Yep wagons are the best. If I could I would ban SUVs so everyone would go back to the almighty wagon.
Is it a turbo model or just the standard 2.5L? I agree. If my car was a wagon, I'd never get rid of it.
I wonder how the extra 75hp would be. I've never driven (or even ridden in for that matter) a turbo car.
its actually fast enough as is. Then again, i have never driven anything faster, so my vision of fast is probably skewed.
My mother just came and visited, as she was leaving she backed into my neighbours car.. Her 06 Ford Territory has a chip in the paint on her bumper, his 2013 Nissan Navara needs a new bumper & front guard. LoL Nissan build quality.
Type s is a run daily. K20a2 does work. Intake hearer exhaust and cams with a tune and you'll put down over 260 to the wheels.
Is it even possible to get cams that are more extreme than the ones that are already in it? They must be pretty close to maxing out useful lift/duration when it hits VTEC. I know the Ford Focus SVT's 2.0L Zetec was pretty much maxed out cam wise from the factory. Aftermarket cams didn't produce a note worthy gain in horsepower.
